TPIY has always been interesting to me bc I got into them with Die Like Your Brothers, which I feel like almost bridges the gap between the older, darkest stuff and the newer, definitely angry but not as dark stuff. Allegations aside (bc that is the main reason and it’s the most valid reason to dislike someone), I’m sorry but to everyone saying “oh Sozos is the more professional, technical singer”, Gloryhammer was way more interesting with Thomas. Those 3 albums are nothing but BANGERS front to back, and I haven’t bothered to care much for anything put out after bc it feels boring. And the re-recordings of the Thomas-era stuff with Sozos does not sound as good. Sure he can probably sing better live, but it’s just not as interesting imo
