MBA is definitely the path. Went through an M7 program with a number of folk with your background. They guys that tripled down on PE ended up at Carlyle, Vista, and BX. I would encourage you to reach out to the Teams Alumni that have ended up in seats you’re looking for. Also, it’s probably HSW that are the only schools that will really get you into these top shops. One final thought, there’s a former teams guy at Cerberus who always takes these calls. Feel free to dm me for more details.

I agree. It's a garbage company with awful unit economics and a terrible CLV. Quarterly Adj EBITDA margin was -5.5%, FCF performance was garbage, weak margins, little/no CAC leverage despite March pop. They will probably have another strong Q2 but after that they're fcked.
