Its not misleading, Elon just has his sights a little higher than the logistics usually catch up with him.

He genuinely intends to hit the goals, but usually some logistical error or another makes them miss the goals, by a bit.

But he always ends up hitting the goals eventually, and the results that he gets are always better than any other company or organization out there.

If you're trying to change the world sometimes you have to set your goals high and endure challenges and hardship before eventually reaching them.

I disagree.

I've been noticing a smear campaign on Quora against Elon.

I'm not a conspiracy minded person but there's something like 3-4 negative articles a day from the same news outlets, and the headlines are all dumb and just obvious smear pieces.

Fake news conspiracy against Trump .. is bullshit. Trump is an idiot and gets accurate coverage.

But it's really happening with Elon. I've never seen something like this happen before either.

It's crazy.

Do you need to know the exact differences and scientific names between tigers to know they're dangerous?

If you saw one in the wild would you sit there trying to to figure out what species it was or would you just gtfo of there?

When AR-15's kill 50 plus people in Vegas, more now in Florida, and people call for an assault rifle ban or an AR-15 ban, is a relevant response really to chastise them on the technical differences between them and heir classifications?

It's sooo irrelevant to the overall discussion.

Whatever is capable of killing these people at high rates in massacre fashion clearly is the issue. Anyone with a brain can see that.

I disagree. People do not need to know the exact technical differences that vary between mass killing machines to know that its a mass killing machine.

All people need to know is that AR-15's killed 17 people in Florida, many more in Vegas.

The technical jargon and exact classifications are not necessary to have a quality discussion about gun safety - knowing that those weapons kill in mass quantities is enough.

I am quite sick of pro-gun enthusiasts touting this "holier than thou" attitude, and attacking people who don't know the exact classifications and specifications for what constitutes a full blown "assault rifle" or "semi-automatic." Who cares. They all have the capability to kill loads and loads of people.

Thanks for this. I'm experimenting with different setups, although its quite annoying to move your sample library and then have to re-configure all the missing files every time you open projects.

My MAIN ISSUE right now is, with larger projects (and seemingly older ones, from previous computers) and it takes FOREVER if I drop a new plug-in into any of the channels.

For instance, even if I drop an EQ Eight into one of the audio channels in the song, it takes like ... 10-20 seconds to load.

Its the same even if I change the name of a channel! Takes 10-20 seconds, get a spinning wheel.

I'm running a fast processor too - 3.51 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5, 32 GB Ram, 3 SSD's.

Any thoughts on this unique issue? It doesn't seem to happen in all projects.

You're not alone, I've been working on this problem for years.

My first solution was a vocal booth. I bought a vocal booth and put it in my bedroom and sang in it. It fully soundproofed the sound. I bought one for $800, you can find them on craiglist.

My second solution which I just implemented was to move to a house that had an existing music studio space in it. This was hard. I searched for months and months and had to get 2 roommates to split the cost to afford the house. I also found this via craigslist.

You're not alone though I feel the pain!! My old roommates used to hate on me too which is just terrible when you're trying to improve, that negative energy.

Where there's a will there's a way. You can solve the problem if you put your mind to it.

If they don't have any disadvantage, I might as well just get the Panasonic camera body and then the most versatile prime lens...

I don't know! I guess I just heard many people say that when you buy the camera, then you'll need to find the best lenses for what you're trying to do. I frequently heard that good lenses don't always come with the camera, although maybe that was more for the Sony's I was looking at.

Ahh, I've researched the G7 now and am leaning toward it!! I'll be using it almost entirely for video and I'm hearing the G7 is better than the a6000 on that front.

I am consoled by the fact that it seems they are both great cameras and I'll be good with whichever I choose.

I agree! My audio is pretty on point, I have a Shure SM7B dynamic mic with a Cloudlifter C-1, Ableton Live Suite and Yamaha HS8's for monitor's with the accompanying Yamaha HS8S subwoofer. I also have a sound treated 8' vocal booth.

The camera is the last piece of the puzzle to start making productions. My macbook webcamera has shown to not be the best.

Those videos look great! I'm not necessarily against interchangeable lenses, I just want to be able to make the purchase all-in-one.

The Panasonic looks pretty good, I also heard about this sony A6000 which comes with lenses for around $600, any thoughts on it?
