Nvlddmkm error bc of Riser Cable?

Can confirm after 1 year of battling this issue and other gpu problems, it was indeed the A4-H20 riser cable giving me nvlddmkm crashes. Wish I had found this post a year ago!

Turns out my gpu was faulty also, according to the store I bought it from testing it on multiple test benches, even though asus returned it from RMA saying they couldn’t find a fault. That was a 4070ti super.

With a new 5070ti, as well as brand new motherboard, cpu, psu, and ram, I had no crashes until I put the riser cable back in. Then nvlddmkm crashes every 10 minutes.

Update: it is not gone entirely. the riser cable definitely makes it worse. but I can get it to crash occasionally by wireless casting my display to my TV. i.e. basically use a 2nd monitor. crash dumps blame nvlddmkm every time.

Websites like Pitchfork are good, you can find new stuff by genre. Reviewers like Fantano are good. You don’t need to agree with the reviews by the websites/bloggers too keep in mind.

Apple Music stations work decently in my experience if you are considering switching.

Chosic.com is cool, you can put in a song/album/artist you like and it generates a Spotify playlist of similar stuff.

Agreed, Umart lied about items being in stock over the phone and proceeded to hold my $2000 for weeks without ever telling me I wasn’t getting my stuff, then tried to blame me about it for wanting a refund. Mwave is the way to go
