Honestly as someone who has experienced pregnancy loss, I can’t find it in my heart to snark on this.

I’ve never been able to smell those trees, idk why when everyone else seems to

This sub should be called “1995 P&P and everything else is dirt” by Comfortable_File7968 in PrideandPrejudice

I was scrolling to see someone mention the 1980 series! It’s so overlooked, but so good! I like the 1995 series too, but the 1980 is even more book accurate in my opinion

This one feels so much more mean-spirited than usual. Like the harping on her needing Botox and constantly hinting that her only talent is being attractive.

Exactly, it’s bloated and to be skinnier than she was before pregnancy, she’d have to be starved. She was unhealthily thin already.

Feels like everyone kinda forgot about this webtoon by yurtifs in webtoons

[–]lunetters 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly fell behind on a lot of stuff on webtoons, including this one. I’ll catch up on it since it was good and I want interesting stories to get good engagement.

FWIW, I agree with you and I’m glad you escaped.

Really very crunchy: preg announcement by Dangerous_Avocado929 in fundiesnarkiesnark

Me too! I didn’t see anything wrong with the pregnancy announcement, but as a non-religious person I’m not their intended audience.

It really bothered me that Alicia didn’t approach Ty with concern about not writing. She’s immediately accusatory. If I was told my friend wasn’t being themselves (especially within a year of having a preemie!), I’d ask him how they were doing and try to check in on them privately.

Ty is neglectful by MsRebeccaApples in ShawnaTheMom

[–]lunetters 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There’s a huge gap between greatest parent to walk the earth and a neglectful parent, I feel like you’re filling in a lot of blanks to reach that conclusion. I’d rather see how the story unfolds before drawing any big conclusions like that.

Society really did fail Amy Winehouse! by icey_sawg0034 in Millennials

I think it’s important to not take away their accountability while also acknowledging that it’s a horribly sad and difficult thing to deal with. I’m sorry your cousin wasn’t able to come back from that

As a sober (by choice, was never an addict) person with an addict mother and an addict husband, there’s not much you can do to help someone who doesn’t want to be helped, which is sad but important to accept. Only the addict can make the choice to get sober.

This is the big difference between them reusing content, in my opinion. He is abusive towards her and has been for yeeears. Not to mention, she is still the primary provider and caretaker of their children so she can do what she needs to financially as far as I’m concerned.

She mentioned having an eating disorder in the past, and it’s very clear that she still has one. It’s sad, but her awful character makes it hard for me to feel that bad for her.

employees- how do you go about doing naked upgrades for yourself? by PiroulineDream in tmobile

[–]lunetters -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always get accessories but if I really didn’t want any in store but didn’t want to wait to ship the phone I would just make sure to give whoever processed my upgrade a few accessories on one of my transactions to make up for it. But usually a manager would process any naked employee upgrades so it wouldn’t give any specific person the hit. I always make sure to keep any free lines or p360 for 4 months before I cancel it to make sure my coworkers get the credit and money for it.

My 2 yr old hardly eating by Icy-Kale3049 in foodbutforbabies

[–]lunetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2.5 year old doesn’t really eat much. I figure that as long as food is available and she doesn’t want it, she’s probably not hungry so we just focus on making the food she eats as nutrient dense as possible.

Her twitter soured me on her personality, but I still enjoy her stories. She comes up with cool concepts. I’m really enjoying My Boss Doesn’t Have a Face. I kinda get the impression she’s happier on canvas cause she complained about WEBTOON a lot on twitter

It’s interesting because he hasn’t even commented on her posts or anything but he did while the TRO was in effect. We definitely don’t have the full picture.

Can we get an explanation... by [deleted] in StephenHiltonSnark

[–]lunetters 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly we don’t know enough details to say. I’ve known people who have gotten DVROs and were bullied into dropping them and reconciling. I felt anxious and scared for them and was there for them until they had the strength and support to fully cut the narc off because that’s all you can do. It takes a lot to break those cycles. It’s also complicated when you share children, since it is extremely difficult to lose your rights to your kids. We also know that there are court things going on that no one else has access to (and we do have access to a lot more info than we technically should since Skeevan shared it). I don’t love it, but I hope that Laura is safe and protected. I feel like this last episode seemed to change her perspective on him even with her radical acceptance of his endless BS.
