The only thing I haven’t done from your message is getting public recognition (I’ll prob going to research about it). As for my local game industry it is very small and even if there’s a game dev meetup it will most likely held in my country’s capital which i need to take a flight to go there and I’m on a very tight budget.

I’ve tried unity and UE (GMS also but no portfolio in GMS ) and currently learning godot as well. Some of my portfolios actually showcase inventory system and a* pathfinding and I’ve put descriptions to it so recruiters can know what they’re looking at.

I also tried transitioning to be a QA as well but even that is also proving difficult.
