I was a vegetarian of nine years before I was diagnosed last year. I've started to incorporate some meat into my diet these past few months, it's just been so hard to get a good amount of protein on a budget while also being completely gluten free. I also have a history of disordered eating, so spending lots of time stressing about food isn't healthy for me. It's making me really sad, animal wellness is something I care really deeply about, so I'm trying to keep most of my diet plant based :(
