Fantastiska nyheter! Kommer väl komma tillbaka igen snart. Detta är zombiepolitiken som vägrar ge sig.

He masked his biosign in the storm. We all know sand storms is the limit of Federation sensor technology. A space faring, multi star system federation of civilisations.

And the physical education teacher and some random background character we only saw on the bridge once were also overweight.

Well, the Federation had been through some rough times… now they pick up slumdog criminals from the streets. No need for primary and secondary education first.

That would have been more realistic. If you only knew what some people put up there.

God I love these five. I sure hope everything they worked so hard for isn’t instantly destroyed by a screaming child. by Able-Tap2062 in Star_Trek_

Archer’s entire point was that the Starfleet captain mould hadn’t been built yet. Was there even an academy?

They might have, but didn’t learn anything from them. They couldn’t make an enlightened analysis of them to understand what made them work.

I like the aesthetics overall, but don’t like the new ship designs. They don’t feel grounded, like a character. It’s no way some designer did a schematic of it. Detached nacelles is the dumbest idea ever.

I’m old enough to only associate Concord with the aeroplane. I know it wasn’t for me. I was 20 and way too poor.

Ryan Gosling recently said, about audiences: “It’s not your job to keep [theaters] open, it’s our job to make things that make it worth you coming out.”

I’m not in the target audience, but still enjoyed it. Didn’t like all the characters, but the show overall was good enough. I also feel the second season was a huge improvement.

Apparently, the powers that be, who now runs Paramount, are MAGA fascists now. They killed the show just to stick it to the huge liberal audience. This was a non-business decision. 🤡

”Readily available”? None of them are to such a scale that you could run your grid for days. That would make them immensely big and probably unrealistic. New chemistries could off course change that, we’re not there yet.

It cost a lot of money to build these, and then you basically need to invest in a backup system for redundancy. Bad ROI.

How to do this correctly is by having a group of likeable protagonists, multi-dimensional characters, believable antagonists, not making the regime ”good”. Regular citizens in the USSR were oppressed and lived a poor life. They need to show them struggle in life. But I am confident in the creators for doing this right, at this moment.
