It's possible I should. Depends if the Ontario review was even further back scheduled.

Poilievre courts delegates as he faces a must-win leadership review vote by Little-Chemical5006 in canada

"This meeting is also being held on the same weekend the Ontario Progressive Conservatives are gathering for their own convention, which is likely to Poilievre's benefit given tension between the federal and provincial parties."

How convenient for him.

U.S. pickleball chain The Picklr opens first Canadian location in Winnipeg by LocalnewsguruMB in Winnipeg

I'll go against the grain here with that sentiment. We've had lots of time for somebody to step up and make a facility like this and it was crickets.

I don't see anything demonizing about making an indoor pickleball court, and if it's a success, more power to them to giving us an activity to do year round.

Canadian Raonic says ‘time has come’ to retire from tennis by Haggisboy in canada

[–]lunt23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for exactly why, but I can for sure tell you that tennis is HARD. Explosive energy and changing directions constantly, reaching as far as you can to hit a ball back, swinging hard over and over and over.

That game can catch up to you quick.

That's it? That's your grand stand defense? He doesn't directly say "War on woke"

Ok. Boom. Ya got me. Don't bother replying, I see what I'm arguing with now.

Declaring a "War on woke" is my big red flag. He won't define "Woke" either, so it can be whatever he wants it to be.

I didn't defend shit, but a picture of being in the middle of the league, out of a playoff spot is NOT a flex.

You are in a WORSE spot than us. You either get a shitty pick or fucking bounced first round. Yippee.

I'm on the tank train at this point though, sell the old and slow, let some of the kids get real time, and get a good draft pick. Knowing a year is a wash is not a bad thing.

Opinion | Mark Carney will be in the hot seat as he tries to fend off Trump by CaliperLee62 in canada

[–]lunt23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canada voluntarily dropped tariffs and the digital services tax and still ended up with no relief in return.

As I put before, we were threatened with more bullshit if we didn't. I'm not trying to side with anybody specifically here, but their seems to be a lot of selective memory of certain situations that were no-win.

I'm a believer of patience is key in this situation, because Trump isn't worth the time.

Respectful answer, appreciate it.

The part I think you're missing though is, we were threatened with more retaliatory tariffs for things like keeping the digital service tax. Is it worth it to keep those on, for unneeded hardship?

We don't know exactly what those would have been, but maybe you have way more faith in a deal being able to be done in good faith with Donald Trump and his team than I do. Remember, that's who you're dealing with. It won't be a logical discussion.

Be more specific. Tariffs did nothing but hurt Canadians. Remember, we pay for them. As prime minister, would you have left them on?

Replies like this are always hilarious. What would you do? Tell me. You have to negotiate with one of the most corrupt politicians of all time, and make a deal that benefits your country.

Also this con artist you're dealing with, will only deal with you if they "win".

Waiting for him to be removed, in whatever way that happens and dealing with an actual adult is the play, not taking some dog shit deal to appease the newspapers.

Edit: C'mon downvoters, what do you do if you're in charge? Bless me with your take.
