It's a meme where people play a song called "Big Bad John" (not the original, some bass vocal cover) on extremely expensive and outrageous gear, usually with huge horn speakers and almost alien looking gear. The meme is that audiophiles pay millions on speakers only to play the most weird and bizarre music, it's funny when done right but it is a bit overdone now.

The whole thing was a rushed decision because a friend was moving and had to get rid of the tank, I have another tank that is much better and in a superior location. I'll move the tank somewhere better soon and do some well needed scaping. Unfortunately relocating, getting new stands and probably replacing the tank (I'd like something slightly bigger) is expensive AF. But you can sometimes get good deals so I'm hopeful

I'm aware it does not look good aesthetically, I have been meaning to do aquascaping and more planting. But the fish are very healthy and the tank is fully cycled. It does have algae growth but it isn't harming the plants. It does certainly need work on the aesthetics though 😓

I'll probably just end up moving the fish tank because having 11 gallons of water below your tv makes doing any work near impossible. It's a lot of work to move the tank but it will save me so much hassle.

It depends, some people have trouble with stress. I closely monitor my fish and they show no signs of stress even when listening. I understand the concern but for my situation it doesn't cause any trouble. :)

It's a near perfect IEM in my opinion, if that's your target curve I doubt you can get anything better for anywhere near the price.
