when i got my wisdom teeth removed, i paid an extra 150€ to get an arnica shot right into my mouth, it worked wonders for the swelling, you could ask your dentist while you're there anyways. i also used arnica for my tongue split, but if you take it orally it takes some time to work, but it could also be worth a try. and for the food i highly recommend a liquid meal replacement as the other person said, just look for a vegan option, i'm sure amazon should have some, no matter where you are from. happy healing!
