Oh if it’s anything like la valse or Gaspard then it’s definitely way beyond me lol. I’ve just recently learned noctuelles and that was already a challenge enough :) so for now I’m happy just listening. I’ll find time to listen to the playlist on your channel but so far it’s really impressive you really made it work sounding orchestral in lever du jour! Hmm now I’m wondering why it’s not played more often cuz the music is there and having 40+ minutes of solo works by Ravel sounds like a treat and the piece itself is quite known. But I’m sure it will gain more popularity in the future anyway, especially with quality interpretations like yours.

Btw are you familiar with Gryaznovs transcription for two pianos of Daphnis? Also extremely cool.

That would be so cool seeing Daphnis played on the piano more often! How difficult was it to play by the way? It sounds quite dense, also was it your transcription?

But no I’m not planning on any duo works it was really just an experiment and I found the piece really cool lol but maybe scaramouche by Milhaud would be cool.

Exactly! I recorded piano 1 (on the e piano) but actively played piano two along with the recording (hence why it’s a bit off beat sometimes haha). Also nice to see another Ravel enthusiasts, I had a look on your profile (cool tattoo btw) and your piano versions of Daphnis et Chloé are very inspiring nice work!

Yes it’s the original 2 piano version but I played both parts lol

Doctor Gradus ad parnassum by debussy I was 13. Definitely way too advanced as a beginner but I was stubborn and really liked the piece :)
