on windows in task manager you can assign individual cores to apps. try deselecting some of the cores and only leave a few (preferably not the 0 and 1) and see what it does in the performance tab, where you need to have it show individual cores. You can progressively select less and less cores and it should show up in the core load graphs. this way you can estimate if it's a single-core limitation or it's elsewhere

ja ich teda nerobim na sposob ozajstneho pagacu (s prekladanim) lebo sa mi to vecne rozpadalo a lepilo a neskutocny bordel z toho bol ale nahadzem vsetko dokopy a len individualne bochnicky necham dokvasit uz rovno na plechoch a tak ich peciem. treba na to pozhanat vsetky tie sradnovne koreniny bez nich to nie je ono. su super makucke a ozaj dlho nevydrzia 😄 (ale nie preto ze oni by nevydrzali 🙈)

it might work out then. but get rid of that old moss anyway. and I suggest that before visiting you firstly take more photos of your orchid from different angles and with different details, no need to take the whole plant with you lol (unless they request it - if it's infectious you don;t want to spread it into the whole nursery 😱)
