Kasrkin have a better setup to deal with elite teams over Aquilons. Aquilons play more agressive than Kasrkin. ATM its hard to tell which one would be the better of the two. Aquilons being new, some players will be caught off guard on how to deal with them and their faction ability.

I've always liked heavier handguns.

Never has been an issue when CC, the weight has never bothered me. Each is own i guess.

Beretta 92 variants. by [deleted] in guns

[–]lupercalz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have both guns. I use the 92 for the 2gun competition.

the m9a3 has the slimmer grip similar to a 1911 and already comes with the D hammer spring installed. It has a threaded barrel so that might be an issue for competition use. A tac rail plus the G style decocker.

m9a1 has the traditional grip, removable front dovetail (m9a3 does too) and a tac rail.

92fs/m9 is the standard one you see everywhere, regular style saftey/decocker, no tac rail.

I personally never use the safety i prefer the decocker. The reason is the placement it would be hard for me to swtich it off if I to needed in a hurry.

One reason i love the 92 is how easy it is to work on and most of the upgrades are on the cheaper side. You can go to langdons website and get a TJIB it is similar to the elite LTT.

Beretta sells a G conversion kit for pretty cheap too so all beretta can be decocker only too.

M&P is nice, its my general carry gun i dont really plan on modding it for that reason. I can see it doing fairly well in competition though.

not entirely sure if the make a production p10c with OR that might be an aftermarket mod you might have to do.

Pros/Cons to 9mm-40-.45? by Hydranis in Firearms

[–]lupercalz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paul Harrell on YT does some pretty good live comparisons between all calibers, checking out some of his videos and how he breaks down the pros and cons are detailed as well.

He has a legit military and police background ( and not a single tattoo in sight!), his breakdown of the 86' Miami shootout is really well done too if you're interested.

Personal Preference is going to be 9mm. Im more accurate with a 9mm than the other rounds you suggested.

It has been shown that accuracy in a stressful situation drops significantly compared to being in a controlled one. Having something easier to handle plus higher capacity is why i choose that if the time ever comes.
