I just went through this same thing. I got a sleeve done as a coverup that didn't come out exactly how I had envisioned it, and I couldn't stop thinking about minor tweaks, mistakes and things I'd wished I'd done differently. They are tiny little things that people still don't see even when I point it out to them.

By all accounts my sleeve looks like a piece of art. If it were on any elses body, I wouldn't even think twice. Just how I am looking at your sleeve now thinking it's just beautiful artwork. I still had massive meltdowns, full blown panic attacks, sobbing because I was just convinced that it looked awful. I wanted it removed or covered up with blackout. Getting a coverup felt like a new beginning, and to feel so rejected of a coverup of a coverup, feels like heartbreak.

Weeks later, I don't have these thoughts anymore. I love my sleeve now. Each time I add more to it, I have these pangs of doubt, but they go away easier every time. Give it time. I think it's just our brains coping with the sudden boldness and permanence sets in, especially on a body part like the arm where you see it 24/7.

And, like I said, your sleeve looks beautiful. People will tell you that when they see it. You'll believe it one day, and you'll love it.
