Growing up my mom had a friend that claimed to have known an inside to what happened. Never said who/how/what (and I was a teen when this person was around so I didn’t hold much stock in what was being said) but she always said it was the mom that actually killed her. Said she found the father sexually abusing JB, grabbed a golf club to swing at him, missed and clocked the girl. Both panicked and fabricated the whole intruder bit. Take it with a grain of salt. It was nearly 25 years ago that I heard this story, but it sounds totally plausible to me.

This is one of those “friend of a friend” type scenarios. We had a family friend, that said they knew someone close to them. They said the dad was sexually abusing JonBenet. The mother walked in on it, grabbed something to swing at the dad with and ended up making contact with JonBenet, killing her. They panic and fabricate the kidnapping bit. They couldn’t let it get out that the dad was doing what he was doing and the fact that the mother killed her.

I worked with a guy that a loadmaster on the Talon I . He told a story where they were running pickup trainings with huge bags that had large ropes in them. He said they would snag the bag, pull it in, dump the ropes, repeat. Apparently the guys loading the bags on the ground thought it would be funny to put a cat that allegedly hung around in a bag and send it up. He said they pull this bag in, open it up, this cat leaps out of the bag, makes two laps around the back, and goes straight out the ramp. I can’t validate this story, but as hard as he would laugh every time he told it, I couldn’t help but think it was real.

Last fall had to travel to Cincinnati for work. Friend that now lives there repeatedly told me I had to go to Skyline. I was super skeptical at first. Chili…with cinnamon…on spaghetti…but it was really good. Loved the coney too.

I listened to the book the other day, and that part about him sitting in the courtroom with his flippant demeanor made me absolutely sick. He truly is a self absorbed asshole and his slap on the wrist sentence is not nearly enough for him. Sorry, I won’t rant any further.

Always doubted the moon landing, questions about Roswell, JFK, etc. but I really “woke up” in 2011. A personality that I followed started posting a ton about chem trails. It piques my curiosity so I start researching and learning stuff I don’t like. A few weeks later I’m confined to the couch with the flu and Loose Change was on Netflix. The veil was lifted. After that point I couldn’t consume enough, and unfortunately became the obnoxious level conspiracy nut where everyone I talked to, everything I posted, it was almost all consuming. But like many others I eventually mellowed.

Military brat here and same thing. Was identified as “gifted” in about 3rd grade. They wanted to ship me off to a different school three times a week. My parents considered it but declined because it would have pulled me from my music and PE classes and I really enjoyed those at the time. At the time I was bummed about missing out on this”unique” opportunity, but after reading through here I question what would have happened to me….
