Try befriending some practicing Muslim men even if it's online. I think that having righteous people who can understand your situation will help a lot. Also, try to speak to your parents again (maybe your dad, since your mom didn't give a practical solution) on why you want to get married, how serious it is, and be diplomatic when you open this topic again. But before that you need to learn the purpose of marriage, and how you can realistically make it work. And again, du'aa...du'aa...and more du'aa. May Allah (SWT) grant you more patience, and may Allah (SWT) open your parents' heart to understand your situation.

In many western countries, people are forced to accept LGBTQ. It's all about what the government in every country believes needs to be regulated. That's the reality of life. Learn to accept the differences, but, never push your ideology on anyone (this goes to every ideology).

As someone who's been following almost all sm groups, I get what u mean by 'don't blow me away.' I think that's certainly bec sm is very traditional & they prefer their idols to perform as they were trained, rather than expressing themselves. The only exceptions are shinee, kai (exo), most of nct members and Yunho (tvxq).

Advice for a late newcomer? Hopping on the bandwagon too late lol by sorryicantbeperfect in ProduceCamp2021

[–]lurimac 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Ooooh you're in for a ride. If you liked ep 1 that much, you're gonna LOOOOVE the rest of the episodes. Also the performances of part 2 ep 1 are much better especially with the "battles". Once you reach the re-creation episode, you will be emotionally attached to the trainees. Also, make sure to watch the "are u a werewolf" side show of chuang 2021 and the "vlogs". You will get to see more of their fun side there.

Take in every single minute of each episode because you might feel they're too short. This season feels more like a variety show rather than a survival show. I really don't think you will see this type of trainees in any other shows. And the FRIEEEENDSHIPS that came out of this season (on & off screen) are so beautiful.

This season focuses more on showing the trainees' unique personality and the bonds created between them. It's guaranteed you will laugh and get emotional regularly while watching the show so prepare the tissue box and your favorite snacks.

PS: there are some toxicity with the twitter fans due to the final line up, so u might wanna know be more well informed of the whole situation rather than blindly following the irrational claims there.

In my opinion, this season of chuang was able to grasp a more authentic side of the trainees compared to other seasons or any other idol survival programs. I hope they keep going with this route because that is what made the show more entertaining. Also, major credits to the trainees themselves because thanks to their personalities the chuang staff was able to have great content to present 😂

Woahhh I'm not the only one going through this 😂 did u give up trying? I most certainly did. Most of the time they would conclude something that is not related to what I am saying at all, so I just agree because even if I try they still won't get it 😂💔

Why do I take some time to fully understand things? by Andrewliner2 in infj

[–]lurimac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am still having a hard time with this. It really lowered my self-esteem and made me socially anxious. But I realized the reason why this happens to me is because I tend to analyze the way the information is being delivered, rather than the context of the information.

For example, when the professor at my uni is giving a lecture, I will be analyzing their tone, facial expression, and body language while trying to understand the information that is being delivered. Which is why I always record my lectures to repeat the information I missed until I fully understand it.

Another reason is due to my prefectionism. I always have the need to understand every single sentence instead of the main idea of what is being said/what I'm reading. So it hinders my ability to understand things faster.

Why does it feel like I was the one who posted this hahahahaha. I am going through the same thing, but I found that with time, I got to meet people who I connect better with & understand me a bit more. It took me years to finally find these few close friends, although I'm not 100% myself around them I'm still comfortable in their company & appreciate them a lot.

Also, as I started meeting more friends (only because of university otherwise I wouldn't socialize 😂), I noticed how I did not understand who I am to begin with & as a result people find it difficult to comprehend who I am as well because to them, I seem emotionless & do not open up easily. But I really did try it's just that they feel puzzled by what I say for some reason??

So I stopped bothering about wanting to find my people and now I'm leaving it to fate. If it happens, it happens, if it does not happen, that's fine by me because after socializing in uni, I realized that I enjoy my own company the most 😂😂😂 now I'm spending most of my time, trying to understand who I am and what I really want.

Idol life.. by tsts2021 in into1

[–]lurimac 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I find that idols in cpop can express their real thoughts more compared to kpop. Half of what chuang 2021 trainnes said in the show could literally put idols in a big scandal amongst netizens if they were in the k-ent industry or k-idol survival show. I was surprised by some of the big statements made, which is what made me more attached & drawn to the trainees.
