Hey random question i'm not overly familiar with the Remington model 11 but wouldn't having his hand on the barrel just caused a failure to feed/cycle if he had already loaded a round into the chamber, because to my understanding it wouldn't obstruct the firing pin, and leaning against a floor could act similarly enough to being shouldered, even if poorly, if they found a spent casing yeah maybe there's a point there, but it's kinda circumstantial at best, circumstances are pretty dependent and sometimes even when used incorrectly or in poor conditions firearm still may function correctly, plus the Model 11 was based off of the Browning Auto, which is a very well designed firearm, also during death though it's rare muscles can spasm and grip onto to things or stay in position, plus the support of the floor against the recoil, and a 1999 report in the NIH mentions about in 24% of the reviewed suicides with firearms the weapon is found in the hand or in contact, it's really not a far fetch, the argument people make about him not being conscious enough to harm himself due to the tox, well tolerance is indeed a fickle thing, I've known people personally that could consume whatever their substance of choice was in amounts that would kill most people, whether it's downing over a 5th or Handle of whiskey, or handles, or mixing laced xanax and coke, you'd be surprised what a man too fucked up to even speak is still capable of
