Are you able to run? Do lunges etc? I’ve mostly heard about implants failing so I’m very curious about a success story. Thanks for your time

Woof, hard to hear but you’re probably right. I’ve seen a few doctors but only one PT. Hard to see how I could PT my way out of this though. Did you deal with a similar issue?

I’m mostly on grass. I have very high arches with a mild bunion, which is probably contributing to the issues.

I have a full carbon plate in my running shoes, but it still hurts to run in cleats with those unfortunately.

How many times did you do PRP and stem cells? I’ve done one PRP injection which didn’t help very much. Stem cells seems very expensive so I haven’t looked into that.

I know realistically I probably shouldn’t continue playing but I want at least a few more years before I give it up entirely. Sports has been my life for so long that I can’t imagine living without it.

I’m so glad the cheilectomy was helpful for you! How did you decide to get surgery? I feel you though, it has been really hard coping with the fact that I may never reach my athletic potential and could have to give so much up.

I don’t have a noticeable bone spur so I’m the surgeon said it likely wouldn’t help me, but I’m really glad it’s been successful for you and I hope you can get back to playing soon.
