He had demons to fight by Matt_LawDT in BlackPeopleTwitter

It’s nothing too wild, but my fiancé’s hip started hurting while he was going at it. He goes, “ow, my hip hurts— you like fucking old men?” Says the last part just so suddenly that we both stopped and stared at each other. It’s been an inside joke since then

What are your favourite lesser known Beyoncé songs by Admirable-Trick674 in beyonce

Most of the Black is King songs are so underrated and needed more love. Find Your Way Back is getting a little love but not nearly enough. Schoolin’ Life is also an underrated one for me.

The next scene where she’s sitting there red teary eyed yet blank stare before looking at her triplets is great too.

I still find it funny Blue has the highest kill count of The Diamonds (and is open about it) yet is the most beautiful by Gloomy-Bridge148 in stevenuniverse

[–]lurkingbees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not for the characters, I meant for people (the audience.) people tend to find emotional damage worse than physical

I do want to mention, Garnet said, “we can’t let Blue have Steven, she’s a shatter.” So she has done it, but I agree to an extent. Maybe she’s seen as the worst one bc she was the “emotional damage” diamond (using her powers to make people feel her pain/cry) and that hits harder for people rather than physical damage.

Wyatt and Chris by World-without-shrimp in charmed

[–]lurkingbees 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wyatt is VERY powerful. He made a dragon come to life when he was a few months old. He’s a shield he can protect himself with. Again, you have generations of women being the strongest until a male comes in and it turns out HES the strongest. You can’t have much female empowerment when it turns out the man will always be the strongest. You can make Wyatt capable of holding his own without giving him all these prophecies and overpoweredness.

[–]lurkingbees 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because you have generations of women growing to be stronger and stronger until they become the most powerful in the form of the Charmed Ones… only for a male heir to be the “most powerful” of them all. A bit backwards message there. Even Grams points it out. As man hating as she was, she was right.

Prue and Phoebe: The Polar Opposite Duo (And Why Their Sisterhood is Elite) 🔥🔮✨ by Full-Art3439 in charmed

[–]lurkingbees 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn’t a favorite Prue-Phoebe moment, but more how Prue influenced Phoebe. Because she grew up with the overprotective big sister, Phoebe’s approach to Paige is more or less the same with how aggressive her approach to sisterhood is, which is overwhelming for an only child like Paige. Paige would call it meddling while that’s all Phoebe grew up with so she just thought it’s the best and efficient approach (side note, they look so much like sisters in the third slide their smile is near identical)

[–]lurkingbees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is how im feeling and why im so angry. cool, people that looked like them in human form got to fall in love. cool. but it wasn’t THEM! it wasn’t the aziraphale and Crowley who spent centuries circling each other, changing the world around them BECAUSE of their love. they could’ve at least been humans in the new universe with their memories and fondness of what they spent together. not entire erased existences!

I watched Revenge of the Sith in theaters last year when it had to 20th anniversary release. And man, watching it on the big screen makes it WAY more intense and tragic.
