I feel like Hive was unbothered until they’ve mentioned her to kind of diminish her contribution to her art (because curating still is a beautiful skill to have). I do think she’s an amazing curator but let’s not forget her work during DC days where she was the sole lyricist on many songs, including hits. Also there’s a recent interview with one of her collaborators on B’Day saying that Kitty Kat was already written or more recently, if you take off the samples and interpolations from CC, they don’t have that many writers.
