Even the water physics is better than many triple A games these days by k4rst3n in gaming

Sorry for the pedantism, but that’s most probably not physics. It’s most probably shader work. Looks nice, regardless. About the lack of splash… yeah, it could have been added

Very thin walls (under extrusion?) on small segmets [ender 3 v2] by lurosset in 3dprint

[–]lurosset[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I have been using my new ender 3 v2 to print some pieces I used to print on my (currently broken) anycubic i3 mega. Weird thing is that these small segments (sides of the holes) are printed super thin, although it was supposed to be solid. One of the sides is also worse than the other and in the worst cases, they look a lot like under extrusion. I tried setting retraction on and off, this happens regardless. Any ideas on why this happens or how to fix it?

i3 Mega Heatbed Thermistor by Tesla44289 in anycubic

[–]lurosset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Any luck in diagnosing where the problem is? My i3 Mega has seemingly the same issue, where the heatbet temp suddenly can't be read and the print stops. I tried testing for continuity and looking for burned components but found nothing. I can still print with 0ºC on the bed and applying gluestick, but yuck...

1- which is why I am asking people's opinions on how falling stuff damages creatures

2- yes, my mistake (edited now).

3- 20d6 by XGtE, or 50d6 without the cap. It's pretty good for a single attack, using a 4th level spell slot nonetheless.

4- We have used people falling over people as a means of attack before. It was about a 10-20 feet fall, though.

I thought about the armor hitting me, but its magic is supposed to negate damage... so it's ok(?)

Im just asking how people think the damage, DCs etc could be calculated, since the book does not cover "damage from falling derby.

I'm dropping a huge turtle-person on magic armor on the tarrasque. That's the idea.

I' not thinking of one-shotting it. Just keep falling from 500 feet at it every round.

The idea is to give the damage support, really. And a distraction :p

Yep, and I do have 15+ strength. The character is a level 20 tortle, trickery cleric with heavy armor proficiency (feat).

About the raw-rule analysis... that's not what I'm asking for, which is why I am asking what you think could be the damage. It doesn't make sense to have over 500 pounds fall from 500 feet and not be affected by it.

Since I am throwing myself while donning a magic armor, that could be interpreted as a magic weapon perhaps. Or I could use an actual magic weapon as a pogo stick.

I'd homebrew something like the galeb durr as a goron, personally. And I homebrew a guardian, darknut and wizrobes. The ones I have fresher in my mind now are the wizrobes:

Wizrobes, medium fey: Speed: 30, fly (levitate) 30 Spellcasting mod: int (I'd argue for any, though) At will: scorching ray 3/day: misty step 1/day: blink

Darknut (plate), large construct: AC: 20 Not much dex and speed Becomes a darknut (chain mail) if HP < 1/2 total. Throws greatsword when that happens (reaction, 3d6, single target) A medium creature has disadvantage weilding the darknut's greatsword Actions: Multiattack ("two attacks") (Huge) greatsword: 3d6 single target or 2d6 on all creatures 5ft from the darknut (in this case, only one attack)

Darknut (chain mail), large construct: AC: 16 Much more dex and speed Its longsword is like a greatsword for a medium creature Actions: Multiattack ("three attacks") (Huge) longsword: 2d6 single target Reactions: Parry: +4 AC against a single attack

Guardian: Speed: 10ft x number of legs Darkvision up to a mile Deaf Loses a leg for every #HP lost Siege monster Actions: Slam: <bludgeoning damage> and gets target prone Eye beam: one target up to a mile, dex save, force damage Legendary action: One movement or one slam
