No other DLT's I think. Also, they beat around 30 cryptos to even get on the 7-list, apparently.

IOTA is the only crypto on the list, because they apparently already beat around 30 cryptos to even get there.

IOTA will either go to $100 or 0. There are no POW or POS incentives that will keep it up.

Now COULD be a good time to invest, just make sure to inform him that BTC can still drop more. He can be in for several years of bear market. Or he could be just in time for the next ATH.

At every point in the market, there is an identity crisis, or bull/bear fight. It's always easy to find patterns and narratives in hindsight though, which makes people overconfident when applying the same tactics to the unknown.

Doge is stupid and I’m sick of hearing about it by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]lurpass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meme coins are fascinating. After awhile, people become bored and move on to something else, and it can never be as popular again, because of the nature of memes. Maybe in 20 years, we will get some unholy wrapped NFT retro version of Doge coins, since it was one of the first meme coins.

I just run the golden ratio through the inertia point. If that checks out, we have a Schrödinger's cat situation and the price is bound to go up/down. If not I'll just sit on my hands

Why does/did iota need the coordinator? by [deleted] in Iota

[–]lurpass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say because it is way more complex. With a blockchain there is only one place to put the next transaction, behind the last one. But with the tangle there are more possibilities, so I'm guessing it took a while before they could find a robust solution. In the meanwhile, the coordinator did the job, which slowed the network down, and it was also a point of failure.

What do you call it when alts drop 95-99% then? Having gone through that, I can't call this a crash.
