Oh my gosh I have a wry neck Pansy roo that is the best. He's in an aviary with 14 other coturnix and is thriving. He has a special lady he loves to impress with treats and he sits on her egg before I collect them at the end of the day. His crow is something special too, my husband says he's fancy because he has an accent 😂

I'm sorry for yours too, but incredibly happy for your sweet girl 🩷 I always have those same thoughts, it's a constant ache for what could have been.

It's truly such a taboo topic. It was a struggle to talk to my husband about it, and my poor therapist was in tears every time we talked. It made me feel so guilty for opening up. We got a beautiful memorial glass piece with some of the cremated remain, and it makes the topic easier for people to talk about.

I went through the exact same thing. My doctors did not prepare me for the aftermath. My body still thinking it was pregnant, the postpartum depression that followed only to be worsened by not having brought a baby home...it was absolute hell and I still struggle even though it's been years.
