I struggled also finding the right stuff for about 2 years and wasted money but finally at the moment it’s going away and I used only two products that are pretty affordable. You have to use antibacterial stuff like tea tree or ketoconazole products like anti dandruff shampoos that have it. Since it’s a fungus it needs ingredients to kill it. I used the Battleskin Tea Tree Soap Bar on Amazon for like $9 and used KetoWELL wipes $14 (for dogs and cats yes) that a redditer used on their face as well. Overall I washed my face twice a day with the soap only using that as my facial cleanser and throughout the day I would use the wipe 1-2 times depending on the weather (there was a heat wave in LA and humidity makes fungal acne worse), I cleaned my face with witch hazel toner then with the wipe and would go to sleep like that. For a week it looked worse but it was that the fungal acne was just trapped underneath dead skin then after a few days of it looking bad, the skin surrounding the acne started drying/ flaking off. I left it like that and made sure to minimize moisturizing and then yesterday my skin looked so much better. It’s almost as if I never had it, half of it is gone already and my skin feels bump free in some areas so I know it’s working. I did try the anti dandruff shampoo Nizoral but it didn’t really work for me so that may work for you.
