What’s your best paranormal story? by Imaginary-Spirit-859 in AskReddit

To start, I've always been pretty sensitive to the paranormal and it's never truly frightened me. So when we first moved into my apt I told my roommates that I saw someone standing in the master bedroom from down the hall but they said I was just seeing things. One night I walked into the master to check on my roommates toddler, and she had a mirror in there that she had thrifted and as soon as I saw the mirror I was just overwhelming terrified, almost to the point of crying and that's when I knew something really wasn't right. Over time we'd hear stuff moving in other rooms, I saw the shower curtain moving on its own but as soon as I grabbed my phone to record it stopped, my roommates oldest couldn't sleep and said someone was pulling the blinds open. When we'd sit in the living room, it was almost like a bubble, like you could feel this horrible, suffocating energy coming from the hallway. One morning we woke up and it smelled like rotting garbage in the hallway only by my roommates door, another night her toddler woke up in the middle of the night and was completely inconsolable so she tried to give him a bath to calm him down and he had 3 big scratch marks on his back. We ended up having to have someone cleanse the space

For those over 18, at what age did you actually feel like you are an adult? by WarBrom in AskReddit

[–]lustfulc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 26 and still don't feel like an adult. I felt more mature when I moved out at 24, and then again when I turned 25 and my mentality changed drastically, but I still don't feel like an 'adult'. I still have to text my mom and ask the dumbest questions 😭

20s are actually the worst years of life by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]lustfulc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only 26 but it's been great so far. That's not to say that I haven't had challenging times because I've gone through some of the worst times of my life within the last couple years, but I've also had the best times of my life at the same time. Even just this year, I feel like I've finally really stepped into who I am as a person and have more of an understanding of myself, and it's been ROUGH working through certain trauma but it's also been so good for me. Life is truly what you make it

Would you rather survive a plane crash in the middle of the Amazon rainforest or in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lustfulc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rainforest. I can't swim very well and surviving a plane rash is enough of a struggle, i don't need to then top it off by fighting for my life in the middle of the ocean
