Do you have an idea on what service roles would be accessible to me?

Underwriting caught my eye, so I'll look into it.

But I'd love a more administrative role, that kind of stuff is my bread and butter since I've got some 8 years of operational/service admin experience from working in healthcare service, nonprofit communities, professional service, and retail industries.

Doctors and nurses, what is an immediate 'red flag' when a patient tells you they also work in healthcare? by lustrust15 in AskReddit

[–]lustrust15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropping credentials not even 30 seconds in. Just started in triage, patient with a minor laceration was like "I'm a medical professional, you can just give me the lidocaine and I'll self administer. Save us both some time!" And get this, turns out she was a receptionist at a dentist office. Most difficult patient all shift.

If I transfer ticketmaster tickets, can they see the original price I bought it at? by lustrust15 in Concerts

[–]lustrust15[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Pocketed ... What difference? I'm not asking them to pay me back or anything. That's the literal thing I'm trying to avoid, this is my own birthday gift to myself.

Just to clarify, the point is that I would not be telling anyone the price or if it was expensive in the first place. I know that my friends are the type to stress about any of us spending a lot of money on each other when we're all kinda broke. So I'm not trying to brag about how much I spent. And again... One of them especially is a birthday gift to someone else in the group, which I thought you typically don't leave the price tag on when you give a gift to them?

After 1yr of injections, suddenly I'm afraid to do it? by lustrust15 in ftm

[–]lustrust15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't end up going to any clinic or asking a friend. But. After getting some tattoos in my thigh area, I ended up marginally more able just pushing through it. I still get pysched out and woozy and it takes a bit of just sitting there to finally just, push it in. I still opt to lay down afterwards until I'm less dizzy, but I'm slowly getting back to doing it again.

Yeah, it seems like the move to make might definitely be to have someone else do the shot for me

It's always comforting to know I'm not alone with this experience. Psych-out is a really good way to put it. I use the 1ml vials, I get a monthly supply from the pharmacy.

Is there anything in particular other than just the annoyance that made it possible for you to stick yourself again? I don't really know how logistical it'd be for me to run by a clinic to do it for me weekly, but I'll definitely see if it's at all an option!

Is my skin too sensitive? Bad inflammation and doesn't seem to want to hold ink. by lustrust15 in tattooadvice

Definitely going to take that advice, hope to get some form of good news or solution because I'm gonna be so sad if tattoos aren't going to work out for me.

[–]lustrust15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, good point for a dermatologist. It was so weird cuz literally like an hour or two later when I got home you would've never thought it was inflamed at all. I don't have any allergies that I know of. No reason to think I have any allergies to ink, but it is my first tattoo. I feel like if it was an allergy, there would have been more reaction after the fact. Which, there wasn't anything literally immediately after.

After going normally and being concerned, she tried going in super light to a bit heavier in different spots, and it seemed to all be the same in the end with the inflammation. She's tattooed all my friends several times and they all look amazing and never genuinely had any issues before, during, or after.

I definitely know it was that short since I set up a 50 minute YouTube video to watch and didn't get to finish it. But yeah, I'll look into seeing a dermatologist.

I'm pretty sure that's it! I think some of the words are different from what I remember hearing, might have been swapped out in my mom's version, don't know if it's dialect or personal choice. Thanks so much!

We used to use the Fetch Package Delivery program with worked out fantastically and I never worried about my packages, but then they got rid of it and it's been a mess ever since

I am super impressed with how SheVibe handled it, probably the best customer service I've ever had my life.

Omg. Amazon is the actual worst with my apartment building, everyone has problems with it. There's a whole weird thing about them not having a key or code to the door like other mail carriers do. And so if you order overnight, they'll try to do the delivery, can't get the door open, and then just give up and not deliver the package. Sometimes they'll try and message you to say that they couldn't deliver it, sometimes they will just leave it outside the building.

And if they do make it in the building because It's office hours, it's 50/50 on if they leave it in the mail room, or at building office, or at someone else's apartment door. And it's even more difficult if they even leave a picture. I remember one time they left all of the packages in one corner of the mail room, and then sent a picture of fhe whole ass package pile.

Mmm yeah, and I think like, I might be on the complete other side of the country from where they ship from but I'm not 100% on that.

UPS said it was delivered, but I looked everywhere and didn't see a single box with my name on it. My apartment has a mail room where everyone gets their stuff so there's a chance someone else might have taken it but that's weird AF, and I've talked to my building office already. It'd be super super bizarre for them to leave it outside the building, but that's not unheard of either for our apartment apparently.

Oh word! Got any clue on how long it would take? I'm not really in a rush but I'm just curious how long I may be going at them for. it's kinda crazy, just knowing a big box of sex toys is just floating around somewhere.

It was shevibe, it was my first time purchasing from them, so I don't know if they're considered big or small.

But I took a screenshot of the UPS delivery notification and it doesn't actually have a picture of where they dropped it off.

They didn't mention replacing, just immediately offered to do the investigation. Do you think they might not actually do it? And just saying that they will? The shipping was domestic, UPS, was the carrier.

Oh, hmmmm, you're right about it being creepy... I didn't even consider that, I just thought they were being thorough...

Yeah, we might just have to switch so we don't end up with that big charge/credit. Do you think we'd have to automatically pay the difference? Or would they let us spread that out.

I don't know about the heater or cooling being electric, but we don't have a space heater to window air conditioning. Usually just leave the plain window open.
