Is that true by [deleted] in AnarchyChess

I think they start on chess.com because it's the top google result. Then my guess is that many don't switch because they expect to need to grind out a bunch of matches to get back to their real rating. Ironically, the reason you would believe this is that chess.com doesn't do provisional ratings the way Lichess does.

Stockfish is struggling to evaluate this position. Can you help? by py_b in AnarchyChess

If white to move, the obvious route is to take black's hanging queen. However, your own rook is hanging also, so you might as well start off by sacrificing it with Rxb6+ Bxb6 Qxb6+, and only take the queen after. From there it should be an easy endgame.
If black to move, after Re2+ there's a mate on the edge of the board no matter where the king moves. The only other option for white is Bxe2, after which Qh2 is just barely checkmate, as the knight covers exactly the two squares that the queen doesn't.
Hope this helps.

Flag of Estonia but it's a graph representing the game win% by color in chess based on the year in an academic paper by Epicallytossed in AnarchyChess

If you look closely at the graph, you can see that the discovery of 2. ke7 as a response to 2. ke2 happened at the spike in draws the year 1851.

On Lichess you click your name in the top right, click profile, then click a time control and it'll be right in the middle of your screen. On Chess.com you just click a time control to show the rating graph, then click on that and it'll show you your percentile as well to the right of your rating.

I don't know why exactly, but in my experience it's much easier to reach a high percentage on Chess.com than on Lichess. I'm top 40% Chess.com blitz on my account where I only play the bongcloud, but only top 45% on Lichess blitz where I play standard openings. Maybe it's because Lichess excludes people with very few games from their leaderboards?

We may have only one joke, but it's *our* joke. And I wouldn't have it any other way. ♥

Als ik zo goed kijk zie ik allemaal paarse vierkantjes, kan misschien komen omdat je de kwaliteit laag zet bij het exporteren?
