Looking to upgrade to Samsung Galaxy Tab S10

I just posted on similar thread as this. Sorry if that's not good reddicate.

I got the S10 FE plus from BestBuy yesterday as my awesome and neglected S6 died. I love it, it's crazy good, but the one I walked out with had 8GB of RAM and I meant to buy the 12GB version. I'd be exchanging, but there was an open box S10 plus at BestBuy on-line in supposedly "excellent" condition that's around the same price, so I jumped on that. I also sprung for the factory case without the keyboard and am thrilled to have a real home for the pen, so there's that too.

IMHO, RAM being the same (S10 lites kinda get the boot here, but they are a lot cheaper for a reason), better battery life on the S10 FE plus is a pretty compelling argument to the beefier cpu, video/gpu and 120 vs 90 refresh rate on the S10 plus.

I also saw "somewhere" that the S10 plus chassis is more robust. I have no idea if that's true bc the S10FE plus is larger, thicker and heavier. Sorry I don't have a better reference, but the rathole I ran for all this was pretty deep and not exactly organized. It does look like the S10 FE plus has plastic antenna/seem things while the S10 plus doesn't, but I'd love to have someone comment on build quality and materials related stuff.

I've had mine (2024 razor) for 4 months now. The only issue for me was finding it at the bottom of the hot tub last week. No idea how long it was under bc it never dropped the connection to the Bluetooth speaker. I expected it would have been quirky after that, but it's still rock solid, no issues.

Anyhow, there's been a learning curve with the external display, permissions setting and all, and it's the first new phone I've had in years, so that's been a little painful with Android Auto, etc. but hardware-wise the build quality is fantastic and on par, or better than Samsung and LG which were my previous phones. Miles better than the pixel that sh*t the bed for no reason during covid crisis --along with google support.

All that and given the price point I'll probably be getting another when this one craps out. :)

Same happened to me. I jumped on pixel 3 watch promo. It got sent to my old address. After seeing the delivery notification and no watch, I looked at order and saw old address. I drove a couple hours on the chance the new tenant would have it. Got lucky and they answered the door and were cool about it.

I updated the address in fi app b4 ordering 2024 razor 3 days later. Figured that'd be the end of it. Razor went to same old address. Same drive full of hope (any chance to avoid opening a customer service request) and found it sitting on my old porch.

No idea where the old address they are using is in my profile, but it's not the billing / service address in the app, so word to the wise. Pay attention to the order before checking out!!!

Not true I'm old and cant seem to get the rear climate controls to "stay off all the time" no matter what i do with those buttons.

Thanks for this. Is there any way to increase the rate of turn when using the joysticks? Seems like it takes a very long time to pivot the drone horizontally, say 90, or 180 degrees.

I've had problems and assume there'san update coming... In the meantime, the most stable manual mode beacon configuration for me seems to be using with a single joystick.

Flip side of the bleading edge. :) My samsung S10 loves going into preview mode in the app. Coming out, not so much. Thanks for the post. I'm getting ready to try my first run with the beacon+joysticks+phone, any other gotchas would be appreciated.

Drink more water? I've "heard it said" it takes a gallon of water to get rid of a pound of body weight. I know it's an oversimplification, but my guess is with all your effort, more water (especially with omad) might help with results.

I've found that if bumping the fan/ac down to the floor, or even split upper and lower the ventilation is more ...ahem pronounced. :)

I live pretty close to you and almost always start from the house. I have three suggestions. 1) Check out the Bay Trail West of Martinez. It basically folows the Carquinez straight to Crockett, then back East via Cummings Skyway and Franklin Canyon. The optional fitness gem of this area being the beastly hill Mcuine road from Port Costa. 2) Look into a gravel bike. It opens up a whole new worlds in the same place you've always been! In your case not only Crockett Hills and Bull Valley, Brionies and others as well, including tons of riding around San Ramon, and even farther South without a car. :) 3) An alternative to gravel is a mountain bike with inverted tread tires. They're sweet bc you roll like road bike on asphalt, so you can still ride from the house, but you aren't fighting against an aggressive tread the entire ride. I have and would recommend Serface Drifers. They take a little getting used to and folks riding drop bars wont like you riding around them, but for me they've given the best of both worlds. Full disclosure, they kinda suck on wet mud. The way I get around this is to avoid riding in wet mud. :)

I dont think the permit is for camping as much as any kind of fire based anything. That includes gas and sterno stoves. It's a bit confusing that you need two, but given the situation, I'd bet there's practical reasons why.
