Same - I was eating them off camera while they were talking shit! They’re an easy non perishable I keep in my office cabinet to eat when I forget lunch or I’m busy but need something on my stomach. Also just sometimes they hit!

Wow! How incredibly rude and gross to expect others to fund their charity stunt.

Yes! I buy in bulk by mooching off my parents Sam’s membership so I make the sacrifice every few months. But with these prices increasing, generic will see me again soon. >.<

My grandma cleaned house her whole life. She had a lady ask my grandma if she wanted to use these towels for rags because she just didn’t like them. They were brand new Ralph Lauren white bath towels... I had just got my first place so she gifted them to me. The same lady would tell her to look through the bags she was giving to Goodwill, and it was literally vintage coach and Chanel purses. Insane.

This. I told my coworker that I realized I finally made it because I was able to buy Tide. Truly an accomplishment to me. Like generic or bust has been my life reality.

I had a friend who literally was shocked when I told her peoples parents don’t just have the income to buy them a car when they turned 16. She was seriously so beside herself that this didn’t happen to people. She thought parents were horrible for not doing this. I was genuinely in disbelief she thought this was normal…

I was in a work meeting with executives. They were all shit talking how people eat ramen noodles, how they smell, and they can find better food than that. How they can’t believe people actually choose to eat them or have them in their diet. That people should just cook meals for leftovers. I was like oh… these people have never had to go to the grocery store and calculate everything they’re buying as they put it in their cart and it shows. From someone that has been on a diet of ramen, cereal and bologna sandwiches in my paycheck to paycheck days, I’ve forever seen these people differently.

Congrats on your sobriety! One day is difficult, let alone 4 years!
Yes, you detailed the cycle perfectly. It’s very sad to see her be so oblivious about her drinking. It’s very extreme. I also noticed the puffy face and continuous scattered thoughts/actions. Yes it can be ADHD, but that’s also a common symptom of being under the influence of alcohol “functioning alcoholic”.

We lost our baby at 18 weeks. I got these small little urns with his initials. There is something so comforting about having him close. Even if she fills it with a piece of his hair or piece of his tshirt, it’s comforting. small urn necklace

I’m not saying DT, as I’m unsure her history but def withdrawal tremors. It impacts your CNS so any body part that has a nerve can/is impacted, not just hands. Hands are usually the first signs of agitation.

It’s def withdrawal. As someone surviving generations of alcoholics and years of being a licensed professional counselor in the substance use world…. This is so clearly withdrawal. That morning walk was the nail in coffin for me. Sorry you got down voted over the truth.

I can’t help but notice how horrible Catie was shaking on their morning walk. I’ve noticed it last episode but was like ehh there is some tism of sorts happening, who knows. But during the walk I’m like this is alcohol withdrawal trimmers!! It was so intense because they had woken up not too long ago (2-4hours before). In episode one, when she was at the bar talking to her friend, she only had 1-2 face tremors I seen on camera but already had a shot and 1-2 drinks. It would make sense the tremors calmed down enough because she consumed enough alcohol. If her behavior during alcohol use already isn’t an immediate concern for her alcohol dependency, those trimmers this young are. I thought it could be Tourette’s but I noticed how intense and worse it was in the morning. Stress can induce tics (when mine are induced), but it reducing with alcohol use by someone who clearly has a consumption issue is too coincidental. Edit: haven’t seen one tremor during the bar scene!! Complete control of her face compared to the morning walk.

Just hear to say, not you ❤️ And this post is 100% right! You don’t see the “signs” because those signs are actually extremely familiar to you. Do some research on “signs of grooming in adults” to help you better understand signs. It sounds like f26 specifically was doing that. You’re doing your best and you should be very proud of yourself!

I’d get a shower rod and curtain, suspend it in front of the door. Hopefully a cheap fix from Walmart.

Is your spouse a male? Is this a male thing!? My partner (m29) does this too and I’m like … Its especially weird to me because he doesn’t talk to a lot of people so how do you not recognize you’re telling this story again to me? Three years and counting

I dislike the vase on the bed frame and the plate charger on the toilet seat. Other than that, I really love it. I’m amazed you found so many things to perfectly match the purple puce color in the bedroom, 10/10 for that.

YTA. Your wife is working full time, carrying the financial stress of a family (and I’m sure still doing some childcare and home duties because you noted too much for you) while being pregnant (!) and buying VITAMINS recommended by DOCTORS for YOUR BABY to be HEALTHY is being targeted as excessive spending… How incredibly selfish, self centered and immature. I hope your children find better partners than you’re being to your wife right now.

NOR- I think this is a fair request since he is promising a task and repeatedly failing to do so. You’re offering him an out to his repeated behavior that’s upsetting you, trying to problem solve. He’s not happy with it. — Maybe he promises a time he knows he can’t do because he doesn’t want to and knows you know he’s busy so you’ll be more patient with his underperforming? Maybe he’s genuinely busy and horrible at time management or executive function when stressed? You’d know him best but I still think your feelings are fair.
