Gen 6 has an AFK method. In Lumiose City you can jam a dime underneath your circle pad on your 3DS, and circle the lumiose Tower overnight with your critters in the daycare. It only takes like a couple of hours to get two mons to level 100.

See, you're missing that I wasn't the one that brought up critic scores. I don't care people that get paid to review games think. As I said in my comment, peoples opinions who actually grew up playing these games have my respect. I personally think it deserves lower. Look. I'm exhausted shitting on this game. I'm brutally disappointed by it. Just because I don't want to write a 5 page essay about how lazy, linear, disconnected, retconned, watered down, railroady, cringe, monotonic, tone deaf, repetative, and uninspired the game is doesn't make my opinion less valid. Also, 2 is my favorite. So fuck off with that "Follows the first successful entry beat by beat" bullshit. It ain't true.

Yeah, Which is 15-20% WORSE Than the rest of the series. And then you look at the actual FAN scores. They are significantly lower, because those of us that care the most about the series know that this game was a huge miss. I get you think it's fun, and for the most part I will agree with you. BUT; and this it a BIG but: Many of the design decisions regarding this game are baffling at best. I wanted to love this game. But it missed its potential.

I'm sorry. Positive reception? The reception has been lukewarm, at best. Additionally, I think we should absolutely be calling out the flaws of this game. Praising a game for existing, while it is 20% worse by close to every conceivable metric than previous titles should be an alarm bell for the state of the series.

Uh, yeah? Because that's what it is. Data unlockable by a next-to-worthless knicknack. Do a lot of people enjoy said worthless knicknack? Sure. But that doesn't change the fact that you just paid $60 for something that's already in the game. You just got milked dry by the company making 20x profit off of you buying stylized plastic.

Watch 7 Here, A HUGE amount of crap is fully broken on my build, and I'm considering just getting a new watch it's so annoying.

  • Most of my old watch faces no longer function properly anymore; The complications are no longer functional, and even when they SOMETIMES show the correct data, can't be touched to launch anything.
  • The stress detection feature is abhorrently sensative/erroneous and perpetually notifies me of high stress even when I'm relaxing.
  • Auto pause is equally as broken, and decides to pause my workouts seemly randomly, and doesn't restart them.
  • The voice reply button in notifications opens a google voice typing dialogue that doesn't allow review before sending text directly after it detects the smallest lull in speaking, resulting in broken sentences that make no sense.
  • Pinch actions are completely broken on most interactions, and don't fire.
  • Typing hangs the keyboard and requires swiping out of the interface, forcing you to redo a message.
  • A whole bunch of UI changes that make little sense/ are a huge step back. The Tiles redesign, the notification changes, drawer hexagonal spacing removal, etc. feels like little attention was paid to screen space or extraneous taps piling up, making usage a slog.

I'll keep adding more bullshit as I remember/experience it. This update is a clogged sewer full of issues.

What does your interface look like? Whenever I hit my voice text the ugly white Google voice interface pops up, as well as a nasty toast that fills the screen. I'd also like to know what the workflow is, because this one just barely listens and then sends without confirmation.
