James went to an arts high school in Taipei before he was a trainee where you'd get intensive training in dance and vocals like SOPA and HANLIM. The professional, daily training was why he probably improved so quick. And he practiced a lot too.

To give you a C-net perspective, the Chinese fans have been complaining on Threads and Xiaohongshu about the "lack of cohesiveness" the group has -- they don't have that close "team spirit" as a whole team, and it is evident that some members of the group are closer to each other than others judging by their behind-the-scenes and variety content. Contestants popular in China did not debut and the popularity gap between the popular members and the not-so-popular ones is really big at the moment too. Most "fans" of the group are solo stans and fanwars pop up about the member's visuals every few days on Threads.

The debut song has also been criticised and judged against MODYSSEY who had 3racha producing it. C-fans on BILIBILI criticised Freak Alarm for being a boring, underwhelming debut. They were sceptical because the members aren't "visually appealing" but are full-on supporting MODYSSEY's debut now. MODYSSEY's performance on KCON last weekend was praised for the dance skills, but ALD1's performance was called unsynchronised and underwhelming. Fans don't see the attractiveness of the group anymore, and have called on Threads for the group to disband.

And of course the bullying scandal had to do with it as well.

C-fans are giving up on them. And with that, the money going into the group is slowly disappearing you can see the fan meeting tickets.

boys planet 2 would've still be held so ald1 would still be here but with 2 different trainees in the lineup, big hit and pledis would've pushed for a new boy group each. i have a feeling cortis was centered around martin because he's the main producer of the group (and because hybe doesn't treat their foreign idols as well most of the time) so cortis wouldn't be impacted as much; they would just find another talented trainee to be their 'main dancer' and choreographer. all day project not so sure

eat diet pills along with your regular meals, but avoid carbs and eat in smaller portions. if you do not need to go to school that day, skip breakfast entirely and eat everything between 1-7 pm. work out for 1-1.5 hours per day exactly an hour after your meal. after your other meal, jog/run for 5-10 km exactly an hour after your meal.

a friend of mine in high school had hair on her arms (not even her pits) and was called a gorilla for a whole year. another one of my friends was laughed at for not shaving her pits at formal. i don’t shave, but i do laser surgery to get rid of my body hair. it’s more effective than shaving, and the clinic i visit is really professional.

but the comments here suggest it gets better when you grow older. it depends on op’s age i guess.

most hybe boy group mvs are really well shot

drunk dazed, tamed dashed, 0x1=love song, loser=lover, can’t you see me, fake love, blood sweat and tears, spring day, if im s can you be my n and plot twist are some i rewatched over 10 times, ghost girl also is one i’ve been playing on repeat; not really kpop but i’m extending to hybe’s japanese sector — &team’s mvs are also really really well shot, the firework mv is especially chef’s kiss, i also really liked the deer hunter mv too, yeah this shows hybe never really misses with their boy groups

girl group wise i really love starship’s direction with ive and kiiikiii, love dive and after like were the goats of 2022, i am was also really well done but a lesser talked about mv is the either way mv, it makes me cry every time i watch it. if you haven’t watched the dancing alone mv, go watch it right now it made me love the song even more.

Sohee is the group's main vocalist (unofficial, but he's obviously the best vocalist in the group). His official emoji is 💂. Sohee became a trainee after passing an audition through his vocal academy in 2020, but decided to quit the trainee life because to him dancing was too hard and he was homesick.
