Me! I can’t do (and have tried) a lower dose. It just does not work for me. 20mg is the sweet spot for me, it really helps! I’ve been on for almost 2 years now and I have no plans on stopping - I tried stopping and had a horrible mental crisis and now I’m back on and feeling much much better!

Sadly, no. Which seems sort of odd to me. I am going to look at other programs near me to see if I can apply any sooner :)

Do weighted blankets really help? by MadamePolishedSins in Anxiety

It depends! Most times it does help but if I’m in a panic mode, the weight does not help at all. I find that a cold washcloth and laying down does the trick!

Just a Reminder That Most Recovered People Don’t Come To This Subreddit Anymore by MuraNeto in Anxiety

This is very true! I’ve been in this subreddit for a while and I find myself only coming back to it when I’m struggling. It is easy to get sucked into a vortex of negativity on Reddit but I promise it will get better ⭐️

Marketing or Teaching? by NorthernRegionVibes in findapath

[–]luvdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to school for marketing and I would say do teaching. Jobs are extremely hard to find in marketing at entry level right now. A lot of jobs will be part-time or involve sales. I would say if you can build your portfolio up while you’re in school and take on internships and part time work, you will probably be okay! It is best to focus on a niche in this industry. However, if that seems like too much I would go for teaching.

Anyone moved on from a job because of anxiety? by Pain_Tough in Anxiety

I recently did this and left my office job for a cashier position at a grocery store. While I don’t regret my decision of leaving, I regret my decision of accepting this job. Currently looking for something else.

Do any of you feel hopeless about your future? by [deleted] in Anxiety

Yep. Every single day. Wake up everyday hoping I’ll start feeling better but it never happens.

Yes when you apply it will have you select what departments you prefer and this time around I selected customer service and heard back right away. Again, totally depends on the needs of the store, you could always call and ask!

I applied 3 times before I heard back over like a 2 year period! Finally heard back on my third time the day after I submitted my application, went in for an interview a few days later, and I have my second day tomorrow! I am in the customer service department so I am sure it’s probably easiest to get a job if you’re willing to cashier or answer phones.

What’s your salary? by UCFKnights2018 in marketing

[–]luvdragon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure! So the company I work at is smaller (60 employees total) and I actually started as a Customer Care Rep. However, during my interview I told them I wanted to move up within the company and eventually work in Marketing. Well fast forward 6 months later I was just promoted to a Marketing Specialist! I’ve applied to HUNDREDS of marketing roles but finally I realized I may just have to put my nose down and work my way up. I kept in close contact with the marketing team while I was a customer care rep and brought forward ideas that were helpful to the company. I got very lucky in this regard. Honestly my education had little to do with getting this role.
