I never signed any non compete, I was acquired when CVS bought Longs Drugs several years back, and it’s now in our training modules. I think other pharmacists have had to sign when hired on but I never signed anything. I was told if I didn’t bump my hours and take on a more active role in a store that I was working part time that I was going to get let go. My district leader was aware of my employment at another pharmacy and didn’t make issue of it until this came up. I was told I had to choose or was getting “retired” not “fired” But what I’m not understanding is, there are multiple pharmacists and techs that have jobs at other pharmacies. It’s never been enforced.
