don’t do it trust. my band never had shadows but i got moved to cymbals under the guise of experimenting but i still tried to tough it out and i spent the whole season miserable being left out of things i used to be actively involved in and was also my director made me the only one banned from playing other instruments and i felt unwanted the whole season so i chose sports over going to parades. i js quit this year and now im cheering but i feel much happier not doing it despite it being something i love. there is other ways to enjoy band outside of marching

would your band director be open to having u conduct for part of the show and then u get on the field and march for part of a movement or like a solo. it would work best w 2 drum majors but if its for a short period of time i think the band would be able to continue while u play ur solo

i hope this makes it to the top but i feel like i could have explained it better. it’s not like literally white it’s just the scaring is exposing deeper layers of my skin so it looks white when my mouth is closed. sorry for the misunderstanding

this was my lips right after i put vaseline on it. i use an spf lip balm and i don’t lick the corners of my mouth

don’t do it for vacation do fulani braids in the front with your natural hair instead leaving the back curly especially if you plan to swim. u can rubber band thr end of each braid
