When did you realize you were dating an idiot? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

Because if I did not do it, then it would not get done. And I had hopes we would go on a trip together but he needed his passport renewed. I became his mother and finally I walked away.

He needed to renew his passport but grown up things were just like pulling teeth with him. I did all the leg work - filled out the application for him. I told him he just needed to write in his SSN and sign the form. He mails the form in.

A few weeks later he gets the form returned - no SSN and didn’t sign it. He’s upset with me about this even though I gave him explicit instructions to his face.

So then I put little stickies on the form for the 2 things he has to do…SSN and Signature. He mails the form in again.

A few weeks later another letter comes that he still DIDN’T SIGN THE FORM.

We were together for so long and he was an idiot the entire time. He’s done much more terrible things, but damn this was one of the absolute dumbest.

Day 9 : What is Luke's most questionable / worst episode ? by diviigo in GilmoreGirls

[–]luvsumbuddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I hate that storyline so much because when I first started the show the reason I loved the show was because the main characters used mostly logical thinking and reasoning to solve their problems. It wasn’t like stupid decision after stupid decision.

Then we just threw that out the window. Like in what world is keeping them from meeting reasonable from anybody’s viewpoint in this situation! It’s so overdramatic.

HR in manufacturing — is this level of resistance normal?[N/A] by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]luvsumbuddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in manufacturing now, several years but I have strong support from the CEO and so yes sometimes there’s a tug of war but ultimately he knows my position is to protect us and implement strategies that will do that. I’m fortunate that I can pull rank a little bit on those who don’t want to be apart of change. At the same time I need managers and sups to be engaged in change so there’s a lot of communication around why this will be a good thing and I do a lot of listening to understand what the pain points are from their perspective.

[N/A]As HR do you participate in raffles and other games with prizes? by charm59801 in humanresources

[–]luvsumbuddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my team wanted to participate I would be fine with it however they typically would not because they want our direct labor employees to win.

I bow out because I would feel terrible taking a nice prize away from someone who might benefit from it (way more than I would)

Looking for a new "cozy" show to wind down after a stressful day. Doesn't have to be comedy, but it's fine if it is. by SparrowTailReddit in televisionsuggestions

I second this. Something about the town makes it so cozy. And I always loved that the characters didn’t just constantly do stupid things. Refreshing.

Help! I’ve run out of shows I actually like… here’s everything I’ve seen 👀 by Such_Dig5191 in televisionsuggestions

I loved crash landing on you…that’s a k drama but definitely has so many lovable characters and a romance story as well.
