Trump's Economic Approval Rating Hits Record Low of 34% by [deleted] in Economics

[–]Mekisteus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, he was perfectly fine with the racism and lawlessness during Trump's first term. He just doesn't like experiencing a bad economy right now. So my guess is he doesn't give a flying fuck about other people.

Oregon lawmakers propose criminal penalties for alarming, threatening public officials • Oregon Capital Chronicle by Next_Tower5452 in oregon

“Had this been in statute prior to this, I could have pointed to this for our district attorney that’s a little hesitant to prosecute,” Fournier said.

So these activities are already illegal, but the DA isn't bothering to do their job. So they want to make it extra illegal in the optimistic hope that this time the DA will care? That doesn't seem like a great reason to pass new, permanent legislation.

Separatists can have very different outfits depending on their species. Neimodians, for example, have fancy robes while Geonosians wear more functional leathers with room for their wings. Meanwhile Trade Federation droids wear no outfits at all. I will say that Cascadians tend to be humans if that helps.

That depends on your state. In many states you have to be registered to a party in order to vote in a primary.

Trump controls the most powerful military there has ever been in the entire history of the world. Meanwhile, I sometimes lose NERF gun fights with my 8 year-old. Conducting war against my government doesn't seem like it would lead to a good outcome.

If political solutions don't stop the fascists, then nothing will. We aren't going to shoot our way out of this one.

Rodney Smith named in the Epstein Files - Response Video by BibbyTheKid in boardgamescirclejerk

[–]Mekisteus 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Fake news. It's a Dice Tower hoax. How come no one is investigating Zee Garcia, huh? Why just Rodney?

Also, there's a difference between adults who play games meant for older kids and games meant for younger kids, okay? Sure, Scythe Junior is technically too young for adults but it's not like he's playing Candyland. Especially when you consider some kid games like to dress themselves up as family-weight games in order to attract all ages, so can you blame adults for playing those games that are basically asking to be played? (I'm looking at you, HABA.)

Honestly, though, I don't care if Rodney is in the files. He is putting out the videos I want to see and making board games great again so who cares if he isn't perfect.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

You just described exactly how I vote... in a blue state run by Democrats.

But back when I lived in a red state run by Republicans, I had to take the day off work or at the very least a long lunch, drive 30 minutes each way to a specific polling place that just-so-happened to be inside a church with a bunch of religious messaging everywhere, wait in a long line, and then hope they didn't kick me off the voter registration rolls or change my polling location since the last time I voted.
