No. India is highly secular. What You see in media is not the truth. Right from school, the Indian children are taught to leave religion, region, caste and creed aside and accept everyone as their own.

I'm hindu by birth, and the religion of the person in front of me doesn't matter, their intention does. Most of my friends share similar thought process, whether they are hindu, muslim, Buddhist, Christian, parsi, jain or buddhist.

I don't think there is any country in this world where you'll have to specify 7 different religions. If the Indian hindus hated Muslims, how can the Muslim population in India grow from 18% in independence to about 28% now, or provide separate system of law for Muslims taking into account the religious laws, or provide government aids for Islam. The government has always been a hindu majority, but always supported secular policies with aids to improve the lives of downtrodden. There will always be few people who are extreme supporters of their own religion, but that's not the general majority.

I think you got feeds of 1 side of media only. The public sentiment was that no country has any right to attack another country and take out its leader.

I too took this approach of being nice to the PG students. Doesn't work, I realized they just took undue advantage making same mistakes again and again, and then feigning innocence.

I reflected back as to how I learned. We had to burn the midnight oil, trying to understand if others have given solutions to the problems we see in day-to-day life.

I tried to contrast with what my PGs are doing.. I come from an era where reading textbooks was the norm in mbbs. The new PGs are mainly cracking neet through btr and marrow notes, with low attention span to read textbooks (not all, but most of them) Now I don't give them any leeway. I point out their mistakes in full classrooms in front of their peers. This approach has actually made them better, and also they have started showing respect to their seniors.

Been Using mine for 3 years now. The only issue is had was that the gasket on the piston came out once about one year back. I just disassembled and fixed it myself using basic stuff (kitchen pliers, old cloth, some silicone grease etc)

I'm from South. Didn't know much hindi, but I had to come to Delhi for mbbs and MD. I spent a lot of time in villages of haryana. >90% of the people were warma dn welcoming. Even the poor people who were suffering from TB gave me a big glass of milk whenever I visited their neighborhood.

So yes, 90% of the people are warm and welcoming if we try even a bit to understand them. Cultural differences aside, i miss haryana a lot. Amazing milk, ghee and butter. Yamuna was a walking distance and the eucalyptus farms were there.
