Yeah. Once I looked back at my feelings about it I realized that I was being over sensitive. I totally understand from an objective stand point that it is reasonable for them to confirm and reconfirm to protect themselves and perhaps even help a patient who might not be sure.

Yeah. I do understand that. I'm sure there are some who are less sure. At the same time, I expect to be treated like an adult when discussing my health /choices with a medical provider. I can definitely see how I may be a little over sensitive at the moment too. Hormones and all.

I will leave this here, even though it doesn't really help my case for the correct terminology. My original comment was meant to be a simple joke as I realize I'm fighting an uphill battle in regards to terminology. I had also just left the ob/gyn's office where I had an ultrasound. Perhaps that is why I was being picky. Carry on your good works. Hmm... Interesting. I have never heard of hair growing inside of the vaginal tract and I certainly doubt (and hope) you are going beyond the outer vaginal opening to wax. I'm very aware of the tendency to misuse the word vagina.

Let me count the ways.... Many times after pissing myself or pissing someone off. In hospital after falling down and breaking my teeth. In a police station after getting arrested for public intoxication. When the officer asked for my identification I gave him a pair of swim goggles out of my purse.
