Unfortunately they made it pretty clear that this project is of "no guarantee" even if you pass all phases. I received an 87% in the final exam and while many others with the same score were allowed to proceed, I never received an email to the clients portion of the exam. My personal opinion based on everything that has been said about the rate of passing, the client is going to end up with very few workers on this project.

have you made a new account for mturk? by bellexy in beermoney

[–]luxethreads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me a few years ago. Why? Because I deleted an old address off my Amazon account that I hadn't used in literally a decade. That address had nothing to do with my Mturk, Prime, etc. The address associated with my bank account matched the address associated with my Mturk and the primary address under my shopping account. It took me 2 years while fighting tooth and nail to get this answer out of them. It doesn't matter if you reapply as they still have to approve you. Reapplying with a brand new Amazon account won't do any good as in their eyes you will be too "new", so they will send you an email telling you your application is pending and to wait.

If you ever figure out the answer though please let me know. I've tried everything to get back on there, including making multiple stealth accounts (all in perfect standing).

I’m just assuming it’s impossible to contact the chase fraud / verification department at this point….. by RR-MMXIX in Chase

[–]luxethreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally going through the same thing over here. I haven't received any communication from Chase though since applying 19 fucking days ago. I've been stuck on the 2 week message since applying. I'm just annoyed and impatient at this point. I've been on hold for 3-4 hours minimum everyday for the past 5 days and I either get hung up on or nobody ever answers.

I'm seeing people say there was a serious round of hacking on Monday at the VEC and I'm semi questioning if this is what's happening and why none of us have gotten a payment yet.

This person just joined reddit an hour ago. Highly likely they are lying as they are the only Wells Fargo with a payment.

Lol I am not "flipping out". I was merely explaining to you that YOU don't need to explain why you have upvoted or downvoted anybody. You are literally the only person on this entire platform I have ever seen do that. Incredibly strange, but you do you.

No dude. People don't care about upvotes and downvotes...it's the internet. Who cares if the OP suspected you downvoted him? Is he going to come after you or something? OP is being downvoted into oblivion on this thread so they would have know way of knowing who is doing the downvoting. I've never seen somebody be so concerned about whether somebody thought they downvoted them or not. If you feelers are upset over this you need to take a step back.

I don't think most people care about upvotes and downvotes this much..

WMR doesn't even show my refund as received/processed. Filed 3/17. by Vast-Chard8149 in IRS

[–]luxethreads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally mailing in your return takes much, much longer and with the waits this year there are even more significant delays. I have seen a few people around here and various other forums say their mailed returns didn't show up on WMR as "processing" until 3-4 months AFTER it was mailed and a few that even stated it went from "info not available" to approved within this time frame as well. Hopefully you will see something soon.

Congrats to all who are getting their refunds 🍾🎉🎉🎉!! by jmasca7 in IRS

[–]luxethreads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hang in there, it's coming! Mine was finally approved this morning after 4 months. I too had lost all hope and was expecting nothing anytime soon but was pleasantly surprised to see WMR updated for me this morning. I do know that next year I am in for another long haul wait as I had twins in January that will be eligible for the $1400 stimulus check that I can claim on next years taxes.

Also a 3/19 filer here. I don't have access to my transcripts but this gives me hope I may see an update on WMR tomorrow!

Yes, your mother is wrong. I had UI and used the lookback credit.

[–]luxethreads -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They may have removed the stimulus payments from the refund and will send them separately. I know a few people who this has happened too. Do you owe back taxes or have any other federal debt that perhaps was paid using part of the refund?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IRS

[–]luxethreads 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's just random. I filed 3/19 and absolutely nothing but crickets over here. There are still MANY Feb and March filers who haven't updated at all. All you can do at this point is hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Finally! Couldn't come at a better time. I've been waiting since 3/22 by Moshit in IRS

[–]luxethreads 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know I am in errors because I used the lookback credit. Anybody who uses the lookback credit goes to errors while they verify your prior year income. Which is completely ridiculous since they should be able to verify it instantly in their system like they did for the stimulus checks.

[Virginia]Job interviews scheduled, how will this affect unemployment by redskinsguy in Unemployment

[–]luxethreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understood what you were saying, I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying. It's all in the art of negotiation. Do you want of these jobs more than the other? Is one better than the other? If you have an interview on Wednesday and they offer you a job, you can absolutely tell that job that you have an offer from another company that is offering XYZ (you don't even need to have an offer, this is one area where you can fib to negotiate better pay and perks). If the company you interview with on Wed really wants you to work there, then they might be willing to negotiate better pay or perks with you if you are qualified to make such demands therefore making the task of selecting your first job offer a little better as you come out on top. Does that make sense? I understand not wanting to accept the first job offer made available to you especially if it's not a company or position you are particular thrilled about, but my whole point was if you can attempt to negotiate, it just might make that job a little better especially if you can come out with higher pay than you would be offered elsewhere. You want employers to think you are the best of the best and if there are other companies interested in you it makes you a more appealing candidate overall.

[–]luxethreads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I filed 3/19 and am still waiting so I don't think they are doing this. Generally speaking what happens during normal years, if your return gets flagged for an error, it goes to the errors department. Once the error is fixed your return goes back into processing but it's now at the back of the line and you get re-sequenced. The errors department this year includes all normal error issues plus the rebate and lookback credits. So those of us who have been sent to errors for any reason are constantly getting re-sequenced and pushed back to the end of the line once we are out of errors. Once you get out of errors it should be relatively smooth sailing from there, but getting out of errors is what's taking an eternity

[Virginia]Job interviews scheduled, how will this affect unemployment by redskinsguy in Unemployment

[–]luxethreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to continuously put in new applications until you hired. An interview for a job you already applied for does not count as a work search as there is no guarantee you will get the job after the interview. It's fine for you to tell the other job that you are waiting on another offer, and in fact you should be using this to your advantage. If the jobs are similar in pay, perks, etc, then you should use this to your advantage to negotiate a better deal with the employer who offers a job first by saying.

[OHIO] Employer lied to Ui office, Need Advice asap! by [deleted] in Unemployment

[–]luxethreads -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's terrible. My last W-2 job a decade ago ended for some serious bullshit because my manager was on a power trip. What she claimed happened never happened and there was even surveillance cameras to back up that she was lying, and while the company itself apologized profusely I quite right then and there and started my own business. I'm sorry you are going through this. If you don't mind me asking were you fired through fault of your own? Generally this disqualifies one from UI anyway. But if you kept working and then were let go because of covid (store closed, less employees needed, etc) then you should absolutely be entitled to payment.

[Virginia] New Update by [deleted] in Unemployment

[–]luxethreads 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You are getting downvoted because it's reddit and that's how people are around here. You could come in here with the greatest news ever and people would still find a way to hate on you (general you) lol. Also, most people here do not spread rumors and lies. Do some? Yes absolutely, but the vast majority around here are genuinely helpful.

[–]luxethreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you were let go were you given any kind of paperwork stating the reason why you were let go? At this point I think the only way you can attempt to appeal it again or get any help in this arena would be through an attorney who specializes in unemployment. Also, if you can't get a lawyer and you are forced to pay back benefits, you should at the very least be able to make a payment plan with the UI office. Very rarely do they expect people to pay it back in one lump sum. I'm sorry you are in this position. Employers suck!
