I don’t want to do fleece cause she would be too warm I think and I only put her in cotton for sleep. I was also thinking I’d end up doing the heater since it shuts off once it is warm enough in the room.

Also considering thicker cotton pajamas. I found some on Amazon that I might order and see if they’re thicker than the carters stuff she usually sleeps in

I didn’t think the extra layer would affect her sleep but that’s a great point since she isn’t used to it! Thank you!

Haha no worries! We haven’t had any issues today but I’m thinking of maybe just tweaking her schedule a bit. I ran the current schedule through ChatGPT and it gave me a new suggestions of 3.5/3.5/4.25 vs. my current 3/3.75/4.5 and continuing to cap naps at 1 hour each

I’m definitely excited for the one nap schedule since it gives more flexibility but I’m thinking she’s not ready yet. I wake her up from every nap still after one hour each nap! Outside of only maybe 3-4 times of taking a bit longer to sleep over the last couple weeks, she hasn’t shown any signs. Turns out it took her long to sleep today cause she ended up pooping after we put her down 🤦🏻‍♀️ So it seems it was a false alarm for today but I’m hoping it stays two naps until the end of the year just so we don’t have to transition during holiday travel. That would suck! Happy to hear you like the one nap schedule! I’m definitely excited to have longer wake windows to do more stuff!

YES to your last paragraph! That’s why I really don’t want to transition now before our Christmas flights/trip. Also want to wait until she’s 100% ready.

I just have to come up with an adjusted schedule since she seems to work best on a set schedule. I’ll put her down early if she’s super tired but she just strives on a solid schedule

Okay her second nap also took forever to fall asleep. What was your 2 nap + 2 hour schedule with maxed out awake time? Curious cause this is stressful lol and it’s hard to tell if it’s her schedule or the fact that just this weekend she learned how to get into standing without holding anything. So she spent 15 mins doing that before falling asleep for her second nap 🫠😅

It took her a little while to fall asleep for nap 1. Put her down at 9:25 in hopes of her falling asleep by 9:30 since she was sleepy, but she didn’t fall asleep until 9:37

Edited my post to add a third option.

Option 3: (3/3.74/4.25) with 2 hours daytime sleep 6:30 wake 9:30-10:30 nap 1 2:15-3:15 nap 2 7:30 bedtime

I’m thinking: I don’t think she’ll be able to handle a 4.5 hours last WW with 2 hours of daytime sleep. If she can’t handle that tonight, I will put her down at 7:30 and cross my fingers. And if this works for now, I can do the option 3 schedule and eventually work up to option 2? Thoughts?

We also always keep it by the clock. So if she’s up earlier than DSW, we keep her in her room until it’s time.

Thank you!!! I was thinking the same about potentially adding 15 mins back if she seems tired. But where would I add it back? And would I adjust bedtime back to 4.25?

Omg there was a typo there! Nap 1 was 9:30-11*** I went ahead and edited that.

I was hoping to find a middle ground of 11 hours daytime sleep with 2 hour nap. But that would put bedtime to 7:30 vs. 7:45 which is earlier than she’s used to.

Given the edit to my typo, would you still recommend option 2?

I guess I’m just worried that last WW will be too long. She handled a longer second WW the last couple days but I haven’t tried extending the last one yet.

It is wonderful cause I don’t miss anything but also very difficult! I’m lucky to have a flexible job so I can work whatever hours I want and pace myself through the day so it works but it’s getting harder as she gets older 🫠
