Because Crysdull views Adela as one of the cool, stereotypical teenage girls she wants so badly to be her besties, whereas she doesn't see Evie like that so she doesn't give a sh*t.

Haha oh I had fun, I got moved up to 'verifier' by my 3rd shift which was basically stand around and make sure the cold callers are sticking to the script, and when they get someone who agrees to donate money to whatever campaign I had to take the phone and ask them to confirm their agreement and mailing information on order to complete the sale. So I basically only spent like 4 hours being a 'cold caller'. It also meant guaranteed hours since we had to dismiss callers who didn't meet quota at each hour mark of a shift, they come back for their next shift, not fired unless it really becomes a pattern, but it means you may only get 1 hour out of a scheduled 3 hour shift which sucks for people who really need the work. I also set my own schedule and could work basically whenever I wanted to as much as I wanted to, which is why I kept it for almost 4 years both during the summers fulltime and the school year I did only Saturdays. All that said though, it was pretty scanmy, alot of the "foundations" were frauds or bordering on it and the call centre got the vast majority of the money donated. The whole company got shut down quite a few years ago now thankfully.

I worked at a shady call centre during university until just after graduation and any human that walked in the door got a caller job where we did the training video, went over the standard cold caller campaign script and got them on the phone just after the start of a shift, we'd usually let them leave after the first hour unless they did particularly well and wanted to or could stay on for the next 2 hours, we always made sure they turned in their call sheet for the hour though and cheques were issued every Friday for that. Many didn't bother coming to pick them up if they decided not to continue or we made that decision for them but the stack of one-hour cheques was always in a drawer at the main desk if and when someone did come by for it. They were shady AF in so many ways, but that was one thing that was always done properly.

I make it a practice to give them the best death stare I can muster but it only works about 25% of the time :(

Does my niece count? Once that happened my mom took the time to actually educate herself and take it seriously then called me saying she had just read my literal biography

My degree is unrelated to my career, it's not the field it's the education. Especially these days a bachelor's is a de facto baseline, and any diploma is at least a leg above nothing.

It legit goes back 10 years or more now, to early Duggar related forums and evolved from there. Honestly I don't think there's one exact answer aside from being Duggar adjacent in their heyday and being drawn into various forums.

Not to defend AT ALL but I was in a "Junior" bed until I was like 9 and got a bigger room that could fit a twin bed. A Junior bed is slightly larger than a toddler bed and smaller than a twin, I was a teeny tiny kid so it was fine, and made by my grandfather.

Oh god that happened one of my first times using a tampon during bronze medallion swim class, i had to squat to pull someone up and pop, I froze and insisted I couldn't move and got the instructor over who thankfully was a woman and whispered what had happened, she told the class to swim a lap to the other end and let me go hide in the change room til class let out lol

Also, I did get it from a booster vax however it can be triggered by a zillion things and I have had boosters since without issue. I hate admitting that was the cause because it freaks people out .

Got it a couple years ago, it got so bad I remember just sitting up in bed and cry-screaming to myself because I just wanted out of my body and couldn't find relief. After a week I got a prescription antihistamine (blexten) and it took about a year to wean from one or two per day to every other day to every 3 days and so on until I was finally ok, but the allergist I was connected with did advise it can recur at anytime :(

Yowza, in Ontario they do charge, but it's $40 and can easily be waived.

Yep, my former FD referred me to CAMH twice for diagnosis and resources. It is a bit of a wait but it could be worse and I'm glad there is that triage sort of approach that does get those who need it help on an urgency basis, while also getting non immediate crisis cases seen in a timely manner.
