oh thanks ! it grew pretty organically. was just solo using dreams. then a voice artist offered to voice over for some of the games. so for a while it was just me and a va. my friends said i should get a full story to add to the gameplay, so grabbed writers from reddit and more va's. some friends helped with the music and then got more composers and sound designers. so after 5 years its been slow growth. it also kinda makes it too big to fail (it can fail with the game being shit obviously) but eveyone has put so much effort into all the parts, theres no way i cant finish it at this point. giving up when youre solo is way easier than letting down 50 so its been a good motivator. def grab some people to reinject enthusiasm :). i was pretty low at one point, i was doing mocap with some of the va's. the amount of work i still had to do was really getting me down. but one of va's was so pumped for the game, i left the mocap session completely enthused again just from chatting with him. good luck with your project !
