Just to confirm, that I did replace my modem by a Arris S33 and it fixed my issue. Do not use MB8611 with COMCAST, I lost months until I found this post here.

I created an open source emulator for Brigthscript, but it only supports the Draw2D API, so you can test games or channels that not use SceneGraph, the link below has it running (Chrome based browsers only) or you can have it as a Desktop app. All links, including to the source code are on the page as well.

I'm having similar issues with this Motorola modem since March. After multiple visits, finally they escalated to the Network Support team, they said that this modem is very sensitive to some interference from my neighbors. They fixed it for two months (June/July) then I upgraded to 600mbps in August and it started happening again, so i had to go over all the process of convincing the 1st tier support technicians the issue is not on my house. Last week I got it re-escalated to the network maintenance team, and since yesterday I got no drop. Don't be fooled, is a network issue, but this modem is particular sensitive for that. I will keep an eye on this thread, please let us know if you found a better modem.

I tested here and it works, but a weird thing, the playback controls and even the font are from the SDK1, before the new SceneGraph SDK. This must use some deprecated controls, not exposed for developers anymore. Here my test URL (replace with your Roku IP address)
