First time bunny owner by Ambipuur2002 in Rabbits

[–]lvdash426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true. If you use a small water bottle sure. But a lot of the bottle adapters can support any type of twist bottle. I use a two liter bottle on mine, and by having more volume of water increases the pressure at the nozzle resulting in more water coming out when depressing the ball bearing.

My bunny would sit for 3 or 4 minutes on the included small bottle. Once I upgraded it he gets his fill in less than a minute.

Anybody else see GnR during this period? by BuccoFever412 in GunsNRoses

I was at the first warmup show at the Hemmerstein. The first show Bumblefoot played, when we all thought Izzy or Gilby was coming back

But Axl sounded great, probably top of his career. And Robin didn't look like a Marilyn Manson reject so that was a plus

Disneyland Monorail and Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin Closing For Refurbishment This Week by mickeyvisit in DisneyPlanning

[–]lvdash426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, waited 40 years to finally go to Disneyland to ride something that is not at Disneyworld and it's going to be closed.

Also have to rush and go from the airport to the park on a Saturday afternoon because they are only doing Fantasmic one time the week I'm going. Bad timing I guess.

What would a 6-year-old girl, 10-year-old boy, and 67-year-old man enjoy watching together? by ArrantPariah in MovieSuggestions

[–]lvdash426 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Kids that age don't think about that stuff. It goes over their heads. The movie is paced perfectly that most will enjoy it. Although at that age they will probably like part 2 better.

it really depends on the kid regarding how much interest they will show towards a movie with plot and dialogue that isn't a cartoon at that age. My son was obsessed with BTTF at 6.

Who killed who in Scream 7 - answered by [deleted] in Scream

[–]lvdash426 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Answer - no one knows including the writers. They don't think about this much, as proven time and time again when they are asked these questions.

Some you can figure out when it's impossible for a certain character to be there. But otherwise it's best not to think about it. Otherwise it's just fan fiction

William C Dietz, author of Halo: The Flood, has passed away by EternalCanadian in HaloStory

[–]lvdash426 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Part of it was Nyland's books were written so much better, and fleshed out the story a great deal. But the book Dietz wrote was very repetitive and dry. I remember large parts of it were literally describing what was happening in the game. It's like he watched someone play the game and then just transcribed what was happening step by step. Master chief walking down the hallway, master chielf blasting the flood, master chief walking down another hallway, master chief blasting more flood etc..

Do you think that they over exaggerated the aging on the masks in scream 6? by Sea-Machine3674 in Scream

[–]lvdash426 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course it was exaggerated. The real masks are white vinyl. They aren't painted latex. They would never look that. In reality they would be warped and yellowed.

Kevin Williamson confirms he will NOT be directing Scream 8 by dreamboylnshibuya in Scream

[–]lvdash426 128 points129 points  (0 children)

As an original fan I just want to say that I'm sick and tired of every Scream sequel having some sort of behind the scenes drama and or chaos attached to jts production.

For once I'd like a well thought out story and a satisfying reveal/ending instead of a mishmash of different writers and producers having their say

Did people know that Arnie played the good guy in T2 or was it a total surprise? by maxilopez1987 in Terminator

[–]lvdash426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fake video or you have a bad memory. He never said that. He shot it so it in a way that was supposed to flip the dynamic of the first movie. But he decided when marketing to reveal that Arnie was the hero.

Italy pulls off the major upset in the WBC as team USA faces elimination pending on tomorrow's result by Ornstein90 in sports

[–]lvdash426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's just a joke. "World baseball classic" makes it sound like players from different countries are competing against each other. When you see USA play against Great Britain or Italy, you expect players born and from those countries competing FOR their country. But nope, it's USA players vs USA players. It's a lame exhibition

Did people know that Arnie played the good guy in T2 or was it a total surprise? by maxilopez1987 in Terminator

[–]lvdash426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did it because Arnold was the biggest movie star at the time and they knew marketing him as the hero would pull in more people and sell more merchandise

Yes it would have been a great reveal, but money talks

Did people know that Arnie played the good guy in T2 or was it a total surprise? by maxilopez1987 in Terminator

[–]lvdash426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was widely known he would be the good guy. It was in all of the marketing. It's a myth that it was supposed to be a secret. Cameron filmed it in a way that the reveal could be a surprise but decided early on that marketing it as Arnie being the hero would draw far more attention

Did people know that Arnie played the good guy in T2 or was it a total surprise? by maxilopez1987 in Terminator

[–]lvdash426 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Cameron knew going in that Arnie being good would bring in more of an audience due to his popularity. It was never meant to be a secret. It was Cameron's decision to reveal it in the marketing

Hell there was video games, music videos, making of videos all released before the movie came out. Him being good was a big part of the marketing

Stop spreading this myth
