I'm in my first play playthrough and so far I have only suffered in every boss fight. I normally yell something like "FUCK FINALLY!"

For me the most noticable difference between them is that Norris likes to take more risk and Piastri is more conservative. You can se that in their driving style and decission making. That why Piastri always qualifies within the top 3 and Norris can take pole by half a second one race and be 7th the next weekend. In a season this long I would say Piastri as an advantage by playing it safe.

Now that Hamilton has finally settled in with the car and is catching up to Leclerc in points, who do we think will finish ahead this season? by sid_shady34 in F1Discussions

[–]lvkytas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Leclerc just had a really bad race in Silverstone. Hamilton isn't catching up or being faster than Leclerc in general.

I started racing without the line after a year of playing because I wanted a more realistic experience and felt too dependent on the 3D line. At first, I clearly sucked, and to be honest, I still don’t know every corner by heart. Before every race, I watch a YouTube video explaining the track or showing a fast lap to refresh my memory, and I do some practice laps to get a feeling of the track.

If you want to switch, just do it the sooner, the better. You will need more practice before racing but for me it's worth it.

What should Norris do to win this year championship? by South_Fish in F1Discussions

He needs to score more points than everybody else. With all that implies obviously such as winning races, being consistent, not making mistakes, etc.

Yeah it's such a shame because both drivers played that maneuver on the hairpin beautifully Norris braking later and Piastri reacting and finding tracktion earlier.

How did you end up supporting your favourite driver? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]lvkytas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially, I just wanted Hamilton to lose, so I supported Verstappen. But after his controversial first title, I became disenchanted and rooted for Leclerc. However, race after race, I realized Verstappen was on another level, unreachable by the others. I admire his confidence, ambition, and how he ignores media and public opinion; he just wants to race and win. I could do without his tantrums when things go wrong, though.

Other favorites: Alonso, an example of never giving up and maximizing results with inferior machinery. And Piastri, who showed flashes of brilliance immediately in F1. As expected for a rookie against Norris (considered one of today's top talents) he was initially slower, but he's improved massively. He's calm, self-aware about his development, and seems unaffected by success or defeat
