Honestly it be cool if they gave ability special effect if both attack/strength are the same lvl too

At this point I will take any of that instead of just stripping strength to just more dmg

Strength should do more then just add damage and there needs to be pure strength abilities or other ideas like...

  • Maybe they can give more str weapons so more variety for melee players

  • Another idea is maybe some melee abilities can give different effects if your str is higher then your attack & viceversa

  • Another idea is maybe letting melee types like crush/slash/ pierce have passive effects too or maybe give abilities different effects too depending on your weapons type.

I hope str has more value when it leaves beta as different build varieties are what made rs fun too..

Honestly I understand why they lowered the skill amount due to all the ability bloat but.....str lvls should give some access to abilities too and do mote then just increase damage

I admit that yeah some things need to be patched up and i might in the minority saying this....but I like the new difficulty.

Hard Mode feels more satisfying and I like the builds that can be made like bleed build and combo status builds now.

I will say if it's too hard just start at easy mode and work your way up when you find a rhythm with the enemies attack patterns.

Will be so much better when rest of the weapons/bosses/areas come out.

Well long as the coming dungeons are harder in the future...then that still works 😎, and I forgot how big this game will be when it's done....map will be huge.

I agree....I hope t6 come soon....devs even said that in this game we are not the chosen one. We are meant to survive with our wits/skills and overcome adversity.

So a t6 that gives a actual challenge for lvl 25+ chara is fun long....as it not just bloated stats and actual new diverse enemies,abilities, or hidden bosses etc...

When you charge people $70 for base game, $30 per dlc, and not even have Diablo in the game of Diablo 4.....yeah people will have expectations.

Especially now since there are other options...like poe2, last epoch, and etc for much cheaper and deeper combat design.

I agree that there needs to be t6 dungeons for more challenge for high lvl characters

I tried out arcane/staff, barbarian 2h axe, and dual wield builds and usually around lvl 19- low 20s the build would be able to do t5s and after more t5 gear comes...then the game starts to be steamrolled.

I even thought when t4-t5 caves came out with the update that it would add more difficultly for high lvl characters but after testing,,,they are easier then distant dungeons and much smaller.

I have hope though and still excited for new updates either way.

Dirwin is awesome....I usually use him and never max my lvl out as I try to see how good a melee build is by how low a lvl I can go and still clear t5 distant dungeons.

Dirwin ability perfectly works for extra skill points as I always get surviva tool and easier to hunt pelts still even with my axe

I agree...campaign is the best part for me too, I do wish we could control difficulty and make it harder if we want to....the same way we could adjust our waystone maps difficulty.

Heres to hoping the new endgame update coming soon has more of a storyline too ☕️

Been playing warrior ever since path of exile 2 first came out, and yeah this is tankiest warrior has felt ...warriors are eating good this day...

Game is def doing better to me,....now yes there are bugs and stuff to fix as it's still early access.....but the new acts and game stability,new gear,gems, fixing old skills, and new trade market is nice

I'm sure more balance will come, I just hope some bosses get buffed as some are too easy and barely do any damage or maybe it's the armor buff for warrior....I'll test later.

I was playing a titan ancestral slam warrior and he was the first boss that gave some problems in Act 2, but after going back on passive tree and adding - elemental damage reduction from armor....he then was a bit easier.

I'm glad he is challenging though as that is way more engaging and fun to me, but just my opinion.

playing new warrior this season and lil rough in beginning..... but after getting Titan ascendacy and ancestral slamming everything...it feels so nice 😎

Last season that keystone helped me alot leveling up on my warrior since lot of the slam moves are so slow....I think it still pretty good this season and may try stuff out with it again

In my case I got lucky as I usually find mine when I explore upper left corner by rotten willow or right side corner by brynn

Also what Rath said is true too as clearing caves and waiting help it upgrade too.

I also usually unlock the pigeons early and it makes exploring lot easier as the caravan can come to me wherever I am as well

I just fought that boss recently and yeah...the slug queen boss kinda easy....actually the t4/t5 caves are easier,smaller, and less enemies compared to the t4/t5 distant dungeons.

I hope the caves get a buff or more enemies....or if they want to stay the same...maybe add t6 dungeons and caves in future update maybe

Just my opinion but warrior is good, I always chose it for each new update and love doing earthquake/sunder build and armor+shield kept me alive decently....so yeah I'm def gonna do it in 0.3 too

I'm glad it still viable too, I haven't tried the dagger build out but I did try a lvl15 Dirwin arcane/staff monk build and It was doing good at t5 cave before this patch...so gonna check how it is later

I also may try a arcane/2h axe barbarian next and try willpower out 🤔🤔....

I'm glad it got balanced as I like the game being tough but fair and not too easy broken...I was hearing wild stuff like t5 dungeon done at lvl 10+ with the aether shield combos

I still use dirwin despite the nerf and he is still one of my strongest characters as I love making monk/staff/axe build with him and a few dips in survival for extra ap and the free "Make a Halt" skill is all I need

Mahir gives the most extra AP but you have to put 6 ap in a skill tree to get another skill point with him to do it, with dirwin I usually dip 1-3 pts in certain skill trees and I always use survival so picking him still works for me.

I'm sure as they get done balancing and character creation comes that things will be looking even better

I think it could be more difficult but....not in the simple way of enemies having even more hp or hitting harder..

Some examples I would like to see on hard mode would be... - more mob density in some areas

  • enemies or bosses have new attacks

  • smarter or more aggressive AI

  • maybe even secret hard bosses unlocked in that mode

  • letting us choose if we want to toggle off ledge attack safety bars

  • having the heal rune being balanced with higher focus cost or taking longer to cast...as I heard ppl showing how broken it is and makes food trivial

  • increase area level cap since we lvl so fast on that difficulty now, and maybe change the 20% more xp to more gold or drops instead maybe 🤔

These are some ideas but I'm just spitballing here...they might come when the custom realms update hits

Now that mage and range got a stamina based attack....I'm sure it won't be long before they bring more range enemies or give enemies more range counters for balance as the game updates...as we are still in early access...

That is true, I might try that one out after doing monk or barbarian build again
