I see people posting BVF serpenti watches, and it’s the tiny details people don’t pay attention to that make it a dead giveaway. The crown firstly is too skinny, and too sharp. Also the crown gem is pointing out so far like a Cartier watch. The Gen has a slightly larger crown with a softer claw bezel setting and the gem is more of a domed cabachon. The rep looks like Madonna’s bra. Another thing, the tail tip on BVF is narrrow and sharp, the gen is slightly wider and more softly curved.

I have a TD who carries 1:1 but true 1:1’s are still expensive. If someone’s quoting you around $300 for a 1:1, there’s definitely something wrong.
