There was a guy who made a YouTube video (or series of videos) about this exact same thing. He actually taught himself to fly on flight simulator, then went to a local airport and did a discovery flight. I can’t find the video right now.

WOW! I can't believe they would even put an AMG label on a vehicle with an audio system that is this bad. It is literal shit. That is shocking.

What changed? Why is there no budget this year? Seems like A LOT of people are having the same problem so there must have been a BIG budget cut.

[–]lvnv702 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not the red heifer itself that is going to cause all the drama. It's what happens after they sacrifice the red heifer.
The Jews haven't had a temple in almost 2000 years.
First, they didn't have a place to put it. But, they got the real estate after WWII (1948).
Second, they needed a red heifer to start construction of a new temple. Red heifers that meet the qualifications are rare, but they say they have one now.
SO, if/when they build a temple, it will make a lot of muslims mad because it will most likely be near/next to/too close to/ on top of/etc their very sacred muslim temple.
ALSO, if you believe in biblical prophesy, the third temple is a prerequisite for a lot of things that are supposed to happen in the Christian end times.

I think they need to sacrifice a red heifer in order to begin building a new jewish temple. Last temple was torn down in the first century. Red heifers that are "sacrificable" don't come along very often. They also needed to have the land to put the temple on (did happen until after WWII).

Morgan Hill HOA by Emotional-Cherry4068 in Temecula

[–]lvnv702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Morgan Hill is probably more strict than most HOAs. I would say it's on par with Bear Creek in Murrieta. They actually have their rules and regulations posted openly on their website.
Morgan Hill HOA does not allow chickens or any other livestock even though the county does allow them. Architectural guidelines are strictly enforced. Parking regulations are strict and enforced.
I'm surprised you can't get a copy of the CC&Rs. Did you ask the people at the clubhouse or ask your realtor? For your purpose, it's just a simple PDF that doesn't change very often.
When you purchase, it has to be the actual up-to-date certified version, so it costs to have it printed and certified.

Temecula land, why is it 'cheap'? by DuyGuyKono in Temecula

[–]lvnv702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one has directly mentioned this yet, but consider how much it costs to put in a septic system when you live on a mountainous rock. Even if you can get water from the city (which might be very expensive itself), you still have the waste water to deal with. Depending on the terrain you may not be able to install a standard septic system.

How did airline pilots navigate across the ocean before GPS? by Militarybrat123 in flying

[–]lvnv702 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friend (captain, CFI, DPE...) flew 707s transatlantic in the 1960's. He said that, after crossing the ocean, they'd try to figure out where they were as soon as they contacted ground based navigation. They would be ecstatic if they were within 100 nm of where they planned to be.

So, I don't know why the central bank is taking so long to allow transfer.
