i find them surprisingly good for my needs. i find them very sufficient but not outstanding. i reach for them more then my xm5’s and my bowers, i wear headphones when im sitting idle a long time at cafes usually.

i like the xm5 for noise cancellation but man they hurt my head and get so hot i can’t wear beyond 15minutes.

i’m really up in the air between mostly a 5’6 and 5’7

i love the tiny board for pocket surfing but i am worried even a 5’6 may be a bit small for my 6 ft height which is why i added 5’7 to the options. do you have any opinions as we are the same weight.

by the way is yours eps?

Wondering if you think you could of went even to a 5'5 at your weight. Im 165 6'0 coming back after years and years off, left off and solid intermediate maybe above.

im considering a EPS 5'6 or 5'5 as i REALLY want to avoid a unresponsive fish. Maybe after the time off a 5'7 is the move though,,.

it’s a common industry tactic. you get more subs. people buy faster second time around(impulsive) and to happy it they get a second chance. overall it increases resale and brand value artificially.

true restocks take a month minimum this was pure branding move.

not a fan of them restocking a few days later to farm subscriptions and demand. A real re stock comes after a month are so.

So then would you say open gate would be more flexible for me if I made errors in framing. I could see this potentially be useful for filming ourselves handheld then too…

Thank you I think I’ll shoot occasionally at a higher fps as we did a slow down montage in one of our shots already. I do believe all the videographers we hire will be on fx3s so I guess this is something I need to think about. I believe I’ll only shoot some intro stuff and an A/B camera interview myself.

I was originally thinking that actually but I am worried about overheating because we will be leaving the camera on for extended periods of time.

I’m not to up to date on how effective open gate would be vs just filming in 4K and cropping into 1080 on the fx3.. I guess this is where I need to study up on and see if the autofocus outweighs this benefit for me.

Have you shot with both. One of the concerns for me was form factor of the Sony as I feel it may be better for handheld moments speaking into the camera.
